24.01.2022 The weather is one thing you can not control when farming. A little hail damage from today's storm. Watermellon plants are not a fan of hail ... But unlike so many farms out west we were lucky enough to get a little rain

24.01.2022 Great start to the week . 50odd thousand plants closer to finishing our 2022 autumn crop planting . Cracker day too

24.01.2022 Another block done I Might be biased but I reckon we have some of the most dedicated hard working blokes here at SC. They Pushed hard to get the job done before the rain tomorrow. Great to see how much pride you all take in your work ... Can't thank you guys enough excellent effort.

24.01.2022 Thank you to Sam for donating some pineapples to the Beerwah Kindy The kids are drawing pineapples today and making icey poles with them tomorrow. Beerwah Kindy were thrilled to have some Sandy Creek Pineapples and will be planting the tops.

14.01.2022 Pulling apart the old farm house for a reno, found this gem . Old wall cladding from the reno my great grandfather got done ,signed and dated 1913 . Then signed again when my grandfather did his reno in 1962 . Now 107 odd years later once again the old house gets a freshen up again ready for the 5th generation Pike to be brought up in . Can't beat history

06.01.2022 We're doing our best to keep supplying Australia with delicious fresh fruit but the pineapple industry needs your help right now. Not only are cruise ships dock...ed up but the hospitality industry is suffering on a whole. Why don't you do yourself a favour this weekend - put a pineapple in your shopping trolley, at either the supermarket or your local fruit shop. Imagine you're feasting at a breakfast buffet on the high seas or holidaying in a tropical destination. Or why not treat yourself to a pina colada or two and help an Aussie farmer while you're at it See more

04.01.2022 A great big thank you to Sandy Creek Pineapple Company. Em had show & tell at school the other week and the theme was 'favourite food'. She decided that her...s is pineapple and she wanted to take some in to share with her class but of course there was only 1 type she wanted! I quote "I only like Mel & Pikey's pineapples so it has to be theirs!". Safe to say that the class & teachers loved the fresh pineapple! Thanks again See more

First fire damage to one of our farms in Central Queensland, Now we have our agr...onomist visiting some of our farms in South Queensland to find out the full extent of the damage from yesterdays Massive Hail Storm! Mother Nature sure doesn't make it easy to be a farmer in this day and age.. Look for Pure Gold Pineapples In stores and support your Queensland Pineapple Farmers while they are dealing with the aftermath of these tragic weather events.
