06.05.2022 This year our Easter focus will be 'words from the cross', covering what Jesus Christ said and applications to our own lives.
01.05.2022 Join us at SBBC on Sunday we’re concluding our series from the Minor Prophets, and will be having a church BBQ after the service. The weather forecast (24) is looking good! Service time 10:30 am.
21.01.2022 Tomorrow is Good Friday, when we remember what Jesus did for the world on the cross. SBBC's Good Friday service will start at 9:30 am (not the usual 10:30). You're invited to join us!
20.01.2022 He is risen! Celebrate Christ's resurrection with us today. Our Easter Sunday service starts at 10:30 am and you can join us in-person or via live-stream at https://sbbc.net/live.
19.01.2022 You've been in the supermarket and seen chocolate, eggs, and pictures of rabbits. So is that what Easter is really about?
17.01.2022 At SBBC we value being a church family, so we like to have fellowship meals together. COVID forced us to take a break in 2020, then in summer we had outside events (picnic, BBQ). Now the time has come for fellowship meals at the church to resume. For winter our theme will be 'soup', we hope you can join us.
14.01.2022 "Jesus spoke to them again: 'I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.'" (John 8:12, CSB)
11.01.2022 Daylight savings ends in Hobart tonight. Remember to put your clocks back one hour before going to bed, if they don't adjust automatically! Our Sunday service starts at 10:30 as usual - we hope you can join us for Easter Sunday.
10.01.2022 "I have come as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me would not remain in darkness." - Jesus (John 12:46, CSB)
08.01.2022 We're looking forward to an interesting Sunday at SBBC. Come along as we say "hello" to Luther & Jo Ramsay, who are commencing ministry with us. We're planning a BBQ after church (and the weather looks good). Our Easter sermon series continues as we look at John 16.
06.01.2022 "This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all." (1 John 1:5, NLT)
05.01.2022 Easter has passed... but wait! This Sunday at SBBC we'll be looking at John 21. Sometimes we can "pack up" after Easter Sunday and overlook the conclusion of John's gospel. So our "Easter" series actually finishes tomorrow.
02.01.2022 Tomorrow at SBBC we're starting a new sermon series covering the first half of Acts. Join us at 10:30 am, either in person at SBBC or via live-stream! sbbc.net/live
