They have a great playground and massive lawn area for the kids to run around while mum and dad do a tasting. ... You can combine the tasting with a nice casual lunch. 20.01.2022 What a busy day in Norman Road Today. We had no power at Sandy Bay Holiday Park from 8.30am - 4pm as they were putting up new power poles in our street. Hope that it didn't inconvenience too many of our wonderful clients staying with us.

16.01.2022 Here's our 2nd winery suggestion to put on your list. Cheers Marq Wines - a wonderful little boutique winery about 20 minutes from Sandy Bay on Commonage Road. Their Cellar Door is beautifully simple in a bush setting. It's one of those wineries where every wine is delicious. Open Fri - Sun 10 - 5PM... And after the wine tasting head with the kids to Simmo's Ice creamery.

14.01.2022 Do you enjoy holidaying with your pooch? Now is the best time to explore the South West. The weather is warming up nicely & it's not too busy. At Sandy Bay Holiday Park we love all our furry guests and the beach just out front is the perfect place for your pooch to have a run and swim off the lead. We have a few pet friendly chalets as well as pet friendly powered sites.

Chalet has everything you might need. tile fire for warmth and wood replaced every morning Bed very comfortable as was the 2 lounges . We had the Swiss chalet . Staff were lovely and very friendly nothing too much " Try it for yourself ! We still have a few spots left for the upcoming school holidays.

09.01.2022 Here comes our next wine post! Our # 3 suggestion is Aravina Winery Margaret River. This is a must see winery in the Margaret River Region. Aravina is one of those places you can spend several hours in. They have a beautiful restaurant with some amazing food, a WA Surf Exhibition as well as a Sports Car Gallery and of course a stunning Cellar Door. You won't regret a visit. You find them on 61 Thornton Rd, Yallingup ... As of Thu 1st Oct they will be open daily from 10-5PM.

01.01.2022 During School Holidays as a parent you need wine So to make the choice of all the wineries a bit easier in the next few days we will post 5 wineries which you should give a try when down our way. Cheers to that So here is the 1st one: Flametree Wines - oh so close to Sandy Bay Holiday Park ( on Caves Road, less than 10 mins by car from us) with a great Cellar Door and a beautiful outdoor area. You can purchase cheese platters and have a glass on the lawn if you have s...ome time up your sleeve. Quiet good with kids as they can kick a ball around while you sip a nice glass of their vino! Win win really. Open daily 10-5PM

01.01.2022 Nearly the weekend and the weather looks pretty grim Here's an idea! Why not stay at Sandy Bay for a cozy weekend by the fire? Visit a winery or 2 and stock up on your favourite Red to get you through winter. We just dropped the nightly rates for this weekend to $115 for a Swiss or $135 for a Rammed Earth Chalet (for 2 ppl) and get a free late check out until 1PM too ** depending on availability**
