19.01.2022 Chris Smyth It is with great sadness and shock that we recognise the passing of one of the bay’s favourite sons, Chris Smyth earlier this week. A great Sandy Bay, Glenorchy and Tasmanian clubman and friend, teammate, mentor, colleague to so many people.... Above all Chris was a man who cherished his relationships with all people and left us feeling better about ourselves - he was always smiling. 14.01.2022 We had another great night, the 2019 reunion on 24 August. Dick Harrold was awarded Life Membership and thanks to Gary Baker, Grant Fagan and Rick Dolliver (travelling from Canberra) who spoke on the 1969 Reserves, 1989 Reserves, Thirds and Fourths premierships.

08.01.2022 Dear Members and Friends, The Committee of the SB&SEPPO&S Association is seeking your help to locate copies of annual reports of the Sandy Bay Football Club (or even pages) particularly for the 1980s onwards. Apart from wanting to archive copies with the State Archives, these reports contain interesting and valuable information such as awards presented, committee and staff members and games played. ... We are also looking to correct and/or confirm details on our honour boards currently displayed at the Doctor Syntax Hotel, as well as the details on our website, using information from the missing annual reports. Please contact Michael Seddon on [email protected] if you have any reports or other sources of information to assist us with our task.
