Could you please bring with you your shovels and brooms, tools and brush cutters. Our primary focus for this working bee is boat storage and cleaning out the unwanted gear and equipment. Hugo was a gun Optimist sailor and has rec...ently been coaching the class in NSW. Hugo can be contacted on 0439 255 616 (pricing is super reasonable). This is only suitable to Intermediate or Open sailors and will run out of the SBSC. 06.01.2022 Sandy Bay Sailing Club is excited to announce that due to the cancellation of regattas over summer, SBSC will be holding a Junior and Youth Regatta in Dover from the 23rd to 26th January 2021. This is a family event and all club members are invited and will be catered for, including our newest Green Fleet Optimist sailors. For accommodation, SBSC has booked out River Run Lodge in Esperance. Don’t miss out, book your spot now or accommodation is available in the township of Dover. Family Learn to Sail and Windsurf We will be holding a one off Family Learn to Sail and Windsurf session on the following dates - Sunday 6th December ... - Sunday 13th December - Sunday 20th December Sessions will be run from 1:00 till 5:00 Learn to Windsurf We are holding learn to windsurf sessions on Saturday 5th December and Saturday 12th December. Session 1 will run from 10:00 - 11:00 and session 2 will run from 11:00 - 12:00. These sessions are for absolute beginners and is open to all current sailors, siblings and parents. Adventure Camp We are running two Adventure Camps in the Holidays. Adventure Camp DECEMBER 2020 Monday 14th - Thursday 17th December Adventure Camp JANUARY 2021 Monday 11th - Thursday 14th January This camp is open to all classes and levels* *Minimum of Tackers 1 completion required This program is for current club members to bring their boats as well as have fun with other SBSC boats.
