To help our customers all be able to dine with us, we are taking bookings and having 2 seatings, at the times of ... 6pm-7:30pm and 7:30-9:30pm for dinner. If 1.5hrs is not enough time, we encourage customers to book earlier at times like 5:30 or 5:45. Please book a head as it helps us to keep track of the number of customers we can sit and maximise customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe and covid free workplace. 12.01.2022 With today's first stage of relaxing the isolation laws, many of our customers have been wondering if Sankaku will open its doors for dine in. Unfortunately we will not be doing dine in just yet and still only be doing take-aways. We at Sankaku do not want to jeopardise both dine in and take-away customers by moving too fast, too soon. We will have a couple of tables out side for our customers to enjoy at lunch time for the time being.... We hope you can understand and we are hopeful that, soon, we will have our tables out with a dine in menu to allow our amazing customers to our beloved food!

11.01.2022 Dear customers, We have just been contacted by the NSW health, informing us that an patron with a positive covid test had come in to proximity with our restaurant here in Newport. On the 17th of December 2020, between the times of 2pm-3:30pm. As this is heart breaking news, we have taken immediate action with contact tracing and our Covid safety plan and will be working with NSW to help minimise the spread and contain covid as best as possible.... We have shut down our venue immediately and all staff are required to get a mandatory covid test right now. We will update you with all of our individual results as soon as we are informed. We will also go through a mandatory deep clean of the venue asap. We are so sorry for causing you such inconvenience but we wanted to be completely transparent with everything so you can be more safe. We are always so greatful for your constant support and love.
