25.01.2022 Everything we do is to the highest of standards. People who want access to our dogs or want a puppy for free earlier than agreed upon or lied about wanting to be part of our Program, some time after we gave them a top quality puppy instead of keeping the puppy ourselves decided it was a good idea to peddle mistruths via Facebook. We have all correspondence with each person, correspondence where we were transparent, gave all information up front, and how understanding we have been to people during changes in their lives.

23.01.2022 Many, many breeders have the same program we run. To find any fault would mean widespread issue with others who also offer these programs of importance. But most significantly would be of detriment to animal welfare.... Breeders would have less access to genetic lines and health of future generations would suffer

20.01.2022 This Saturday 27th of June we are having another meet and greet in Launceston. We will be at Royal Park near the children's play equipment. We will only be able to do from 11:40am - 12:40pm as I will have my kids with me.... I will bring some dogs of all ages including puppies ;)

17.01.2022 If people knew some who had complained on another list had actually apologised to us later for misrepresenting us, this might . Indeed we have these apologies in writing. We also have the true story and the comments from both parties which show us to be honorable.... But we just get on with bringing happiness into other people’s lives.

15.01.2022 Our Program we cannot take full credit for because it is based a great deal on what some excellent breeders have been doing for some time. In fact we had been breeders for a long time before we knew other breeders had programs like this and we then realised how important these programs were for animal welfare.

11.01.2022 Hello Aussie Friends, Things here are exhausting but rewarding! We have been busy organising some dogs we co-own in different states to have their health testing done as our plans were for them to have their first litter at 3 or 4 years of age but now we have moved it forward to 2 years given we would like to help people who cannot get a puppy at present.... This takes a lot of organising as we need to phone Veterinarians (often playing phone tag) to ask if they have done hip and elbow Xrays on many dogs before, we discuss the anesthetic they use, we organise the eye checks and the swabs or blood tests to be done, if possible, on the same day as the Xrays :) When we know of other breeder who have a litter we will let people know as well :) We love our dogs and our family and also our extended Sanpasho family. We will be in contact within the time promised and we will do everything we can to be there for you once your puppy is born to help with the lead up to him or her coming home to you and in the weeks (and yes even years) after that :) Stay well!

10.01.2022 Thank you everyone who traveled from all parts of Tasmania yesterday to our meet and greet in Launceston. We were there for 6 hours and weather wasn't great but the company definitely was! It was raining on and off and it was cold but the dogs too loved every moment of it. It was lovely to see so many kids giving the dogs and puppies pats and cuddles. ... It certainly makes it all worth while when you meet so many lovely people who love this breed. All the bad stuff goes away and we can enjoy this wonderful breed with lovely people. We will be having another one this Saturday in Launceston at 11:40am, all are welcome :) This will have to be the last one for a bit as we continue to work to get flights for our puppies to their forever homes :) We are working with three pet travel agencies which is time consuming but the only way to get it done at the moment. Thank you all so so much :)

05.01.2022 Our knowledge is often commented on and our willingness to give every possible care to our dogs remarked on by Veterinarians and Vet Nurses. We have been requested to speak on animal husbandry at TAFE. No amount of money is spared for the welfare of our animals in our care. We go above and beyond.... Our program itself is based on work with relevant stakeholders.

05.01.2022 To find issue with our special Program would require a personal attack rather than any credible reason whatsoever. For any complaint if people could read the full email or other emails we sent to the person complaining, the truth would be known. We always treat people with respect, kindness and understanding.

04.01.2022 Hello Everyone, very happy to refund a deposit. These puppies are ones we MUST keep in Tasmania. They cannot be offered to people outside of Tasmania. We gave a timeframe and if people come to us before that timeframe there is nothing we can do. But it is important to note, that is what is occurring.... We mentioned in writing we would be in contact when we have a puppy for people in that timeframe. We have upheld our commitment. As a breeder we are entitled to keep close, dogs we otherwise would keep ourselves, as the breeders. We also reserve the to return deposits to people who wish not to abide by the timeframe given to them before they left their deposit. Hoping this clears misconceptions up, they help no one. 01.01.2022 We have received commendations by Veterinarians even an invitation to study to become a vet by one of Launceston's most respected Veterinarians. Other breeders often co-own their breeding potential dogs. These dogs then live in homes other than the breeder’s home.... Our contract was developed from their contracts.We are welcomed when no one else is allowed even entry, to assist with a C section.
