24.01.2022 UPDATE Well, the day is here. We always knew it was when not if. As per the first wave of restrictions we will be doing everything we possibly can to keep both our wonderful customers and our staff safe. The first change we are putting in place today is no more dine-ins. This is to allow us the space to serve our take away customers! We also ask where Mount Gambier weather permits, you wait outside for your order. We will happily bring it out to you! Thank you so much, we’ve made it through restrictions before and we will again. Today we send all of our love and support to all of the other incredible hospo businesses in the South East.

We wish her all the very best in the next chapter of her career! She will miss her regulars terribly, but if we’re perfectly honest you’re likely to still catch her getting her daily coffee fix.

12.01.2022 RESTRICTIONS We feel passionately that any business, particularly hospitality, have the right now more than ever to make decisions to maintain the safety of their staff and patrons without having to explain themselves. But here we are, explaining ourselves. We are abiding by the one per 4 square metre restriction. Taking into consideration our staffing levels, if we were to allow just one dine in table, this would lead to us only having the space for a single waiting ...customer to come in and order a takeaway. We are a coffee bar, we have always served more take away customers than dine in. This is why, although we technically can have dine in customers, we have chosen not to. Please respect this. If you’re looking for a great cafe for a dine in coffee, we highly recommend popping down to the beautiful smiling faces of @prestoeatery, and come back to us when you’re on the run! Be safe, be kind and show love.
12.01.2022 WE’RE BAAAAACK How truly wonderful is at is South Australians to have leaders and health experts that protect us so diligently. We feel so deeply for all of our Victorian friends and family that struggled through hard lockdown for far longer than three days! As much as we were completely ready to say goodbye for six days, we are so overjoyed to say we will see you again Monday at 6am! Please remember to maintain social distancing, wait outside where possible, wear a mask as recommended still by SA Health and observe our patronage limits. We can’t wait to see you all and hear what adventures you got up to in iso.
