09.01.2022 My first mentor in the mid 60’s was Les Parkinson from Excelsior street Leichardt. Most of my early race birds came from Les including Harrisons which came from Robert North in Queensland. Jack Symonds a strong flyer in the St. George area in the mid 70’s to the 80s also had an influence In May of 73’ I purchased some Harrisons from Bill Ridley from Edensor Park who was moving to the Central Coast. I started to fly the Harrisons in 1975 in the Burwood Club which was affiliate...d with both the FRP and NRP. In 1978 joined the Ryde/Putney club and flew with Central Cumberland Federation once again. My first imported Distance pigeons were from Louella Sale at Parramatta Leagues club in 1990. The DCP cock was the Jan Aardens of the Dolle Line. The BC hen was from the Kuypers Bros and was Jan Aarden from the Smargld Line 1 and 2 and their Spin Bloodline. When I crossed the Jan Aardens with my Harrisons and Giltinans I won within the first few years Mildura 500 Mile, Gympie 500 Mile and 1st CCF Mingary 600 Miles. The Jan Aarden cross harrsions / giltinans produced many top distance results. A 7/8 Jan Aarden off the two original Jan Aardens and 1/8 Giltinan BCFL AUST 99 21752 became the dam, gdam and ggdam of most of my distance birds when crossed into the Harrisons / Giltinans and in 2019 when I crossed the Harrisons with my Wim Moens I won with Marathon Girl 1st CCF Renmark 600 Mile and 2nd ECLDC Peterborough 700 Miles both races timing in the night. In 2000 I purchased a pair of Bernie Fitzpatrick Harrisons which I later found out had a lot of SM Evans in them. I crossed Bernie’s Harrisons with my Ted Bird Harrisons and won Cunnamulla 500 miles with a young hen bred in February and was only 7 months old. In 2008 I went to Wim Moen’s in Belgium with Vince Pedavoli and Stephen Eggleton. We purchased 24 birds between us over a two year period. Within a few year years I acquired all the Wim Moen’s from Vince and Steve. Many Central Cumberland Federation winners have come from these birds from 400km. When crossed with my Harrisons they have won up to 1200km.

04.01.2022 2.Giltinans 1987 My first Giltinans were purchased in 1987 at Bob Gitnan and Peter Paes sale in July 1987, further birds were obtained direct from Bob Senior later that year. In 1990 and 1992 more Giltinans were purchased from Bob Junior. The Giltinans I am racing today decend mainly from my 1988 Queens Cup Winner, bred from Mealy Cock FRP 84 4804 which I purchased direct from Bob Senior and BB Hen BUR 84 799 purchased at the Sydney Sale. This pair was incredible in first sea...son breeding for me, they bred 6 youngsters and 4 won races in the strong Regents Park Club including !st in the Central Cumberland Federation All Age Derby. In 2019 a half Giltinan won 1st Central Cumberland Federation for me. 3.Jan Aarden 1990 4.Wim Moens 2008 5.Hereman Ceusters Euro 6.Hereman Ceusters Ponderosa 7.Hereman Ceusters Olympiade
