23.01.2022 This weeks Food for the Soul...If you are feeling isolated and lonely, anxious or afraid, remember Jesus promise that he would always be with us! #foodforthesoul #John14

23.01.2022 SSBC Update - 5 August

23.01.2022 This week’s ‘Food For the Soul’ comes from John 15:4...God’s desire is to use us, and use us for His Glory!! However, we will only be able to be truly used, and will only be able to bear fruit for his glory by clinging to and sowing into a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. When you cultivate a relationship with someone, we make a special effort to develop it, because we think it will be a relationship worth sowing into. There is no relationship that will be more beneficial to you, and no other relationship more rewarding then the one you can cultivate with Jesus! Remain in Him and he will remain in you and from there you will bear much fruit, fruit that will last. #foodforthesoul #fruitbearers #John15

21.01.2022 This week’s ‘Food For the Soul’ comes from 1 Corinthians 15:20-22...Jesus Christ is alive! Death could not hold him. Christ is raised by the power of God. As we confess in the Apostles Creed, ‘the third day he rose again from the dead’. This opens an eternal future for the dead, who will be raised, and for us who are living to know we have an eternal future freed from sin and alive forever in Christ Jesus...We can live in assurance that the worst that can be done to us-death-is conquered in Christ Donald McKim

21.01.2022 Our ‘Food for the Soul’ passage this week comes from Matthew 5:26 and comes off the back of what we spoke about on Sunday. We encourage you to be praying the following prayer this week... Lord, please show me specific ways to do good in this world, and then give me the courage to make a difference. Help me to do it all for the glory of your name and so that I can shine the Light of Christ. Amen #foodforthesoul #SaltAndLight
