24.01.2022 One of our favourite ways to help others has been sponsoring a puppy through Vision Australia to help Australians who are blind or have low vision! So far we've had one puppy graduate and be matched up with their person, we've had another puppy become a Vision breeding Mum, we've had puppies who are almost ready to graduate AND then we've had another puppy whose Mum is our puppy who become a breeder! It is such a joy to see the puppies grow and follow their journey ... and we... also receive regular letters and photo updates which we just love! 24.01.2022 The fourth Christmas book from our 2019 Book Gift Guide is The Jolly Christmas Postman by Janet Ahlberg and Allan Ahlberg. It's Christmas Eve and the Jolly Postman is delivering greetings to various fairy-tale characters - there's a card for Baby Bear, a game appropriately called 'Beware' for Red Riding Hood from Mr Wolf, a get-well jigsaw for hospitalised Humpty Dumpty and three more surprise envelopes containing letters, cards, etc. You will love opening the envelopes and discovering what's inside as you read along ... so much fun!

23.01.2022 Now this is a GREAT little way to 'give back' and help others ... and it doesn't cost anything to do, just some time! You simply collect your bottle tops (from milk, water or soft drink bottles) and drop them off to a collection point. Envision Hands will then convert the bottle tops into plastic suitable for 3D printing and then make mechanical hands and arms for kids ... how fantastic!! 22.01.2022 The sixth Christmas book from our 2019 Book Gift Guide is another beautiful Little Golden Book called The Christmas ABC by Florence Johnson. "C" is for Christmas-y fun in this festive Little Golden Book reissue from 1962. Classic illustrations from Eloise Wilkin show her famously adorable toddlers decorating the tree, opening gifts, and running to the mailbox! Young readers will see themselves in this book as they learn their ABCs and anticipate Santa's visit. How sweet and adorable does this one sound?!

18.01.2022 FAQ: How are your Personalised Christmas Letters from Santa personalised? Answer:... Each Personalised Letter from Santa contains 10 different fields that you can use to personalise your letter. These fields include topics such as your childs name, an activity they enjoy doing, an achievement from throughout the year, something you would like Santa to encourage them with etc (to see all of the different personalised fields please visit the 'Order a Letter' page of our website). With 10 different fields your child should definitely feel like their special letter is tailor-made just for them! Each child will also receive their letter in their own red envelope with their name on the front.

17.01.2022 Santa thinks that it's SO important to recognise the wonderful things that your kids have achieved during the year ... that's why in Santa's 2019 Personalised Christmas Letter you are able to include something that your child has achieved this year that you are proud of and would love to recognise. 15.01.2022 Hi Everyone ... it's Head Elf Suzanne here! I just wanted to personally thank you all for your thoughts, well wishes and kind messages while I was sick in hospital. They all meant the world to us and we appreciated each and every one of them . I am very pleased to report that I am now home from hospital and the doctors are very pleased with my recovery so far. I also wanted to thank you all for your patience and understanding with Santa's special letters last year, and ...to send a huge thank you to The Apprentice Elves for doing such a wonderful, wonderful job! 10.01.2022 In Santa's 2019 Personalised Christmas Letter you get to choose from 5 different stories, all about the mischief that Rudolph got up to last Christmas Eve, to include in your special letter. Having 5 different stories to choose from makes it ideal if you are looking to create unique letters for each sibling (you simply choose a different story for each sibling), and it also helps to make sure that the Rudolph story that is included in your letter is the perfect one for your child. 09.01.2022 What are WE doing to 'give back' this Christmas? Our family always has SO much fun doing our 'Spirit of Christmas' helping activities each year! Some of the 'Spirit of Christmas' activities we have done in the past include donating pet beds and blankets to an animal shelter, sponsoring a Guide Dog puppy (which we still do and love!) and donating yummy Christmas food hampers via the Basket Brigades (highly recommend this one!). This year we have decided to gift some books to ...the Wishing Tree and we are SO excited!! We all LOVE to read in our family and we are using our brand new Book Gift Guide (found on the 'Spirit of Christmas' page of our website www.santaslittleelves.com.au) to choose our books and hopefully pass on the joy and love of a great book to someone else! So what books have we chosen? We have chosen 4 books all up and the first book we have chosen is: The Baby-Sitters Club #1: Kristy's Great Idea I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved the Baby-Sitters Club books growing up and it makes me so happy to gift this book to the Wishing Tree and hope someone else loves it as much as I did . We will be getting our books online through Booktopia and then dropping them off to the Wishing Tree. The Enchanted Wood, The Magic Faraway Tree and the Folk of the Faraway Tree. We LOVED reading these books over and over again growing up and how creative and fun they were and can't wait to gift this one to the Wishing Tree this Christmas!... Does anyone else remember reading these books growing up? Did you love them as much as we did? 07.01.2022 FAQ: I have 2 children can my Personalised Christmas Letters be different for each child? Answer: Absolutely! On the 'Order a Letter' form there are 10 different fields in which you can personalise your letter. Our letters also contain variations within the letter (such as having 5 different Rudolph stories to choose from). To make your letters different for each of your children, simply fill in these personalised fields differently. ... Of course, some of the letter content will be the same for each child, but with such a high number of different fields in which you can personalise your letter, each child should definitely feel like their letter is their own. Each child will also receive their letter in their own red envelope (with their name on the front) as well as their own sticker, decoration and colouring in sheet.

Included in each personalised letter from Santa is a sticker for your child to wear with pride and delight as they help others, showing the world they have been personally chosen to help by Santa Claus himself! Nina, the littlest elf in Santa's workshop, doesn't finish the teddy bear she's making in time for it to get loaded onto Santa's sleigh. But encouraged by Santa Claus to not give up, she works far into the night to finish it. While Santa is out delivering presents, a baby is born. Santa comes back for Nina's now-finished bearand guess who he takes along to deliver it? How lovely does this book sound?! Do you have a favourite Little Golden Book?

04.01.2022 The fifth Christmas book from our 2019 Book Gift Guide is An Aussie Night Before Christmas by Yvonne Morrison and Kilmeny Niland. Twas the night before Christmas; there wasn't a sound. Not a possum was stirring; no-one was around. Wed left on the table some tucker and beer, hoping that Santa Claus soon would be here. Christmas in the middle of an Australian summer means Santa has to find new ways to deliver his presents. The obvious solutions are to don a sunhat, shorts and... a pair of thongs, not to mention ditching the sleigh and reindeer in favour of some roos and a ute. The gentle illustrations are packed with familiar icons cleverly woven into the visual narrative to recreate the warm, comforting, family atmosphere that Christmas is all about.
