25.01.2022 So you know your tired when - a customer comes up to the counter and and asks for a product that is over in the warehouse - there’s a big queue and I know I have to rush so I turn and walk rapidly -a fall flat on my face having rolled out of bed - omg I’m actually dreaming I’m serving customers now so of course being a boy I tried desperately to re-dream the dream and have a shop full of bikini clad super models wanting service but sadly that didn’t work

23.01.2022 We’re starting to get a little excited -new computers being set up , dust blown off the point of sale -resetting the forgotten passwords on EVERYTHING since we could last trade - trying to untangle the online from soon to be open retail shop. When you find deep in the storeroom a box and inside that box is another with MARK ROBERTS labelled on it - then you unwrap it and it’s a great limited edition Mark Roberts cornucopia-Mark Roberts lovers will probably be the only people that understand I’m sorry but this is a big deal in Mark Roberts Land - so this guy is of course a one off and he’ll be on the site tonight at 169.00. 14.01.2022 Ok guys. Let me properly introduce Holly. She is 10 years old and has come to work with me since she was 10weeks old . She has helped raise 5 kids - been there for me in every terrible time - literally saved angies life when Ange had a fall and was unconscious in the back yard - sits with distressed dementia patients who are lost -begrudgingly lets scared youngsters pat her and help get over a fear of dogs - loves to say hello and sprawl out asleep under trees or any spot ...in the shop - when you come to Santa’s place if Angie is here she will be here as the two are now inseparable . She drinks coffee and is probably bathed more often than most people . She sleeps under the till , in the doorway or any garden bed around Santa’s place - much like Sim does all day - I know that some people are scared of dogs so we will happily put her on her bed in the warehouse with a bone if your at all worried (happy to do that with Sim too ) . Santa’s Place is about family ,loyalty and kindness and holly is an integral part of the team - she is not a ‘poor abused dog ‘ the sad eyes mean you have food - and if you hear me threaten to kill her she probably just ate my lunch or dinner - so when you come and see us at the showroom at Torca Terrace Make sure you say hi to Holly and don’t EVER put you coffee cup down while you look at something as it will be gone in an instant (she has problems ). 12.01.2022 Ok we call out bad behaviour -but does anyone ever say thank you when it goes right. I reckon we would have had 5 or 6 hundred people through today. Everyone was happy -shared a laugh - patient and at least four times I saw customers helping other customers in the car park - yep we can have delays - sometimes things go wrong - and today everybody just rocked - so from us at Santa’s place thank you to you all for making it a fun place to be today - you guys were all awesome

12.01.2022 After I spent a full day working on it the elf section that I built it is now finished and ready for viewing. And this isn’t all of the guys we have . I slaved all day and used all my creativity to make this special display - I think it showcases just how good I am at decorating - ok so maybe sim made it all but I can just picture her head exploding when she reads me taking credit for it . 11.01.2022 Ok so the new showroom is open - I get up early ...shave...put on the first clean shirt in six months and turn my socks inside out (every second day it keeps them clean ) I turn up early to work ..to be met by the brand new girls (actually it was Ange and sim that finally did their hair and makeup but I didn’t recognise them )who look at me and say what are you doing -back to your online warehouse .. so that’s it -party over - the great unveiling . So without them knowing... I’m going to make everything cheaper online or click and collect - Have 10 percent off all day because Online is clearly better thank retail ...I’ll go back to sulking in my factory now . 09.01.2022 Ok a serious question and I need your advice -is it normal at three oclock in the Morning to be running around clutching a towel for modesty trying to catch a golden retriever with the surround sound remote after he’s chewed it and turned on the tv throughout the house at high volume -or is that just my house ?

09.01.2022 Santa’s place online is happy to announce that it’s retail store will open at 9am tomorrow. Our new business hours will be Monday Tuesday Wed 9 till 7. Thurs Fri 9am-9 pm -sat sun 9.00 am until 7.30pm. With the 25k restrictions we are hoping that bookings won’t be necessary at this stage . Our address is 4/2 Torca Terrace Mornington. Parking isn’t easy during the week but plentiful (we have the place to ourselves ) on the weekend. See you soon . 07.01.2022 Best customer return of the day ...a lovely lady purchased an elf on the shelf product and came in for a refund ‘ can I have another one this one is broken’ so when I asked the reason she states that when they go to sleep each night it doesn’t move like it should - now it take a moment to process this and have an image of elves (that are little ratbags at the best of times ) roaming my customers house and working out where to hide - after a polite explanation that it was su...pposed to be done by the parents and elves on a shelf do t move by themselves I had a bright red faced lady saying ‘oh’. After begging her she finally said I could post it as long as I didnt mention names - so I’ve kept my promise and as she drove away in her red mustang ( I told you not to trust me ) I can say she seriously made my year. 03.01.2022 That’s it. I officially have no dignity left - it’s a busy time of year - Angie and I literally collapse into bed at the end of the day at around 9.00pm - but family life goes on - My 17 year old daughter lives in a detached room from the house - around 10.30 I decide I don’t want to hear her music and put on a combination of clothes that consist of angies pink short dressing gown,my grinch boxer shorts and a Bali Bintang singlet I haven’t fitted into in 6 years - this wa...s all I could find without waking up Angie or Holly and to be honest I was only going to be in it for ten seconds while I threatened torture murder and nuclear attack if I could hear one more lyric from whatever ‘artist’ she was listening too - so I stomp outside -trip over Murphy’s bone- cursing I throw open her door to find - I had agreed to 8 of her 17 and 18 year old girlfriends staying over - and there I am in all my manly glory rocking out a pink short dressing gown- so eldest daughter is mortified and I’ve ruined her life and now needs therapy and 8 other young ladies have never laughed so much in their lives ... so the music stayed on - I took whatever pride I had and dragged it back to the bedroom to find 40kg of ‘Murphy’ had seized the opportunity to take my side of the bed - please tell me this happens to everyone and not just me - have a great day I’m off to shave my legs ...Santa’s Place See more
