08.01.2022 Firstly thank you so much for all the concern and messages. We did have a fire at the restaurant this afternoon, we were very lucky that it was not bad. Were not exactly sure what happened but as some of you had witnessed we did have flames coming out of our flue on the roof. Whist traditional charcoal cooking is great there are hazards and we suspect some oil has ignited in our flue. Most importantly nobody was hurt and there is very little damage. A huge shout out to the M...FB, when I arrived and saw six fire engines I must admit I was a bit alarmed, in fact I thought something was happening across the road...until I realised it was us! The MFB were taking precautions due to the smoke and so very professional. The Police were also just awesome and supportive. A massive shout out to Burger Culture and our neighbours, they saw the flames and told our chef to get out and alerted the fire brigade! Thank you we owe you big time. Michael from Royal Yacht Club of Victoria, we are humbled by your support, as our power and gas etc had to be turned off Michael called us and gave us space to store our frozen and chilled goods. Thank you so much Michael. Our staff are incredible and stayed calm through the process. There are some repairs and safety checks to be done but we are hoping we can relocate our kitchen for this weekend and still operate! Well keep you tuned on this. If anyone knows a local Sparky wed love to talk to them to get some safety checks done. Thank you again for your support and messages it means a lot to Claire and I. 07.01.2022 **COVID-19 Update** Reports from Greece that they have found a way of preventing infection of COVID-19. In recent trials, groups found the more Ouzo they drank the more trouble they had leaving the house. In further studies groups reported they also slept well but there were side effects the next day.

06.01.2022 Wow the response to opening has been massive, we've had to close off our on line bookings and so we can only take bookings by phone. We are working to a 20 person limit inside and up to 50 outside. Due to weather unpredictability we will not take bookings for outside until closer to the time of opening of that day. 04.01.2022 We sense there's a bit of confusion over the rules for Hospitality at the moment. Below is issued from the State Government. The key points are the maximum number in a group is still 10 even if it's outside. Inside we still have to observe the 1 per for 4m2, so this means for us downstairs we can do a max of 22 people. 40 is the maximum for sites with a big floor plan. Outside is up to 70 but there are still density levels to adhere to.
