25.01.2022 "An Apology" I owe you all an apology! It's been more than 6 months since I last posted anything of note and that is simply not acceptable .. It's not that I have been lazy or haven't been out much .. On the contrary we have got through a period of grief in the family and managed to escape from this never ending rat-race to some truly amazing places ..Travel tends to wash away the pain and we have even had decent luck with the weather, but the images just haven't made their w...ay out in the sun .. I just draw a blank whenever I try and edit an image .. May be it's a passing phase, may be it's just a state of mind, may be every creative person goes through this?.. I really don't know!! .. Anyway here is an image of an iconic location which I managed to finish after all .. I don't know when the next image will come, hope you like this one though .. This is a time blend of 3 images shot at the same location in different light over 2 days .. 20.01.2022 This year has been tough for me personally with regards to editing colour images but I am so glad some of my BW work did well this year at the recently concluded Annual FOCUS Awards 2019 Super stoked to have been placed 3rd for Photographer of the Year 2019 https://comp.focusphotographers.org//focusAwards2019poty.p... 10.01.2022 I have really struggled to keep up with my editing the past few months .. Work, Travel and Life in general has been busy and although I have been out shooting quite a bit I haven't spent much time processing my images. 08.01.2022 "Isolation" . Another post after a very very long time and may be because we are all caught up in our little 'shoe-boxes' deep in retrospection yet trying to find happiness through simple things in life. We are spending invaluable time with our loved ones (virtually or otherwise) and kids have never got so much undivided attention from their parents. It's like someone has pressed the reset button in our lives and forced us to look within; love and appreciate what we have toda...y. . We are very lucky in a way because there will be many across the world who may not survive the economic fallout of lengthy lockdowns; extreme high density living in parts of the developing world makes self isolation practically impossible and the struggle to access basic sanitization is real. . Social distancing is a priviledge and we must acknowledge this in true sense. We are all in this fight together so lets make it count and beat this virus. .
