12.01.2022 I would like to regretfuly inform the members of the APDA that CHS (Scott) Dolling has passed away at the age of 92. Scott was the Honorary Genetic Advisor to t...he APDA during his time as the Officer in-charge at the CSIRO National Field Station "Gilruth Plains" Cunnamulla, QLD. Scott’s career was devoted to extensive research about sheep including inheritance of pigmentation and his work in his chosen fields has been locally, nationally and internationally recognised by scientists and breeders alike. The APDA in 1964 published "Poll Dorset Breeding" a book that Scott was the author of. Scott’s funeral will be held : Thursday Sept 27 at 1 pm at Berry’s Funerals at 200 Magill Rd Norwood Notice in last Saturday’s Advertiser (Adelaide) In lieu of flowers our family would appreciate donations to a fund which provides small grants it is very dear to Scott : Dorothy Dolling Memorial Trust , SA CWA www.sacwa.org.au
