25.01.2022 We are feeling for the people who have had to evacuate the fire regions .... we are trying to accomodate as many as you as we can ... if you are self contained ie own shower and toilet we can take you .... please be safe and drive safe everyone

24.01.2022 Some of the Most amazing places to Explore once this is all over ..its been lovely to get out and about and explore what we have to offer on our doorstep. We have been having the most glorious weather. Happy to help guests with where to go just come and see me at the desk

24.01.2022 FREEDOM IS HERE It’s only a road trip away. It feels like Christmas Eve has finally come and the team are now able to say G’Day to you again.... We have launched a new Book Now, Pay Later system which means you can reserve your spot now and not have to pay a thing until 48 hours before arrival. So what are you waiting for ? WHILE YOU HAVE BEEN GONE WE HAVE BEEN BUSY! We have been spending this extra time getting our park spruced up and ready for you . We now have a herb garden for you to pick your favourites when cooking a masterpiece . We are adding a fire pit just in time for winter afternoons . PEACE OF MIND IN OUR PARK Of course things are a little different so you will notice we are taking extra precautions in the park to look after our staff and you . All amenities are open with social distancing limits in place . Our heated pool and spa are open with more thorough cleaning processes. They won’t stop you from having a good time . WHATS ON ? Now that you are free to explore there has never been a better time to pack the car and head here. We are so proud to be part of our regional community and know they are ready to welcome you back into their towns. So while you are visiting make sure you support them by shopping local . 20.01.2022 To all our current guests and In coming guests ... we thank you for your patience and understanding these past few days ... yes they have been trying , but most of all for you , our guests . In the current circumstances you have all been super wonderful and all stayed calm. We are hoping and praying that we are in the tail end. Time will tell. Please note , we are a family operated and owned park and we put our guests as Number One , . If at any stage are any of you ,... our guests at risk in any way , we would not want you to come , or leave . Our paramount priority is our guests at all times ... If we deem it unsafe we will contact you to ask you not to come. , and if you feel you dont want to come thats ok too. If you cant come today , or tomorrow , please do one back soon. Our little town relies on our January trade , and without you there is no us , or the coffee shop or the Thai shop , or the restaurants or the little gift shops. We love our little park buzzing with children squealing with joy , men playing mini golf with a can in hand and Mummies watching their children swim in the pool....... 19.01.2022 Some good news ... we have had a cancellation . There is a campsite with an en-suite available from the 26th to the 2nd January ... get in quick it wont last long

18.01.2022 A quick update .... I am not going to lie but it is Smokey today ... there was no wind over night and the smoke has made its way here ... we have been extremely lucky to have had mostly clear weather . I did manage to do Park run still and it didnt affect me at all. Obviously those with medical issues still need to take care . Rest assured the wind has picked up now and I am confident it will blow the smoke away. On a brighter note ... its the perfect day for a swim in the lovely indoor pool its a balmy 31 degrees in the water

18.01.2022 Dont forget that we take bread orders daily ... the supermarket is sold out of bread .. get your order in before 3pm for your delivery in the morning

17.01.2022 Well ... we have been busy today and the park is starting to fill up and there is a buzz of children on scooters and swimming in the pool ... welcome to summer in Merimbula . We have a campsite available on the 2nd January until the 9th January ... first in best dressed !!

15.01.2022 As we say farewell and safe travels to our Guests today with heavy hearts we hope you all have safe journeys and let us know you are all home safe... it was a very trying morning for you all and you have all done an amazing job to pack and go so quickly .... we are so sorry your holidays were interrupted . Our fingers are crossed for the weekend and praying for that rain to come ... See you all soon

15.01.2022 Well what a difference a week makes .. the smoke has cleared a little and the park is quiet. but the main thing is all our guests got home safe . We have had loads of calls about you all wanting to come back and spend money in our town. Please do . Come and stay , eat in our little family restaurants , shop in our little family owned boutiques and bookstores. Have an ice-cream in our ice cream shop and fish and chips on the beach. Buy your family vouchers if you know they are coming here to visit . We will appreciate all the things you can do to keep our lovely little town going until we see you next time.

08.01.2022 Good morning ..... Well ... is this a thing now ?? We trialled Aqua Aerobics this morning and we had at least 20 people in the pool . Lets have a show of hands to see if you want this to be a regular thing ?? Our lovely Denise is instructing the classes and she is a qualified instructor and it looks like everyone is having fun. There is no dress code ... anything from board shorts , bikinis one pieces to bungee smugglers welcome. let me know what you think ... Yes or No

07.01.2022 Paradise has returned for Now ... the sun is finally shining again ... the air is clear , windows are open and washing is on the line. We are taking this today in what is another risky day. This is summer in our little town , and for today we are going to embrace it ... in the hope that there are many many more days like this to come yet.

06.01.2022 Here is a big hello to all our past and future guests. This year so far we have had drought bush fires and now the pandemic. So we are sure you will all agree its been a really tough start to 2020. We are sure we all want our lives back to normal so moving forward we are planning to do just that. So while you are all dreaming of getting away we are putting a winter package together for June July and August which we will advise on once we get the ok. The team are kee...n to start making pancakes , cooking sausages , mowing lawns , cleaning your rooms and en-suite , seeing your smiling faces upon check in and out . We hope everyone stays safe and well and we are looking forward to seeing you all back in the near future . See more
