22.01.2022 This is Peters stone finished. It looks better than what is does in the photos.

19.01.2022 First day of my faceting course started to day, 2 half stones down, one has bad flaws and the other was 2 small. So tomorrow I have to start from scratch, again, but I'm learning how to use my new second hand faceting machine.

12.01.2022 Medical update first. Neurosurgeon is sending me back to Rockhampton, where I have to get a needle through the front of my neck into my back bone while having a cat scan, so they can see it's in the right spot. This may as a pain block for 2 weeks, maybe. Then I have to go back to see the brisbane doctor.

11.01.2022 My excitement was short lived for my faceting course, I learnt lots but by the end of the day, I was in sooo much pain, I could hardly walk let alone sit in the car for an hour to get home.

09.01.2022 I had visitors today, Rick and Lee regulars from Miners Cottage. I have a pile of sapphire dirt in the back yard. So we set up a fossicking area. No where near as good as Miners Cottage. Miss you Gae.

03.01.2022 Now for the scary news, I got an appointment today for my cat scan needle that will go in the front of my neck. 2 weeks time in rockie.

03.01.2022 I must be getting faster. 3 pavilions, 2 small and 1 big, in 4 hours. It use to take me most of the day to do one. And they didnt look as good.

02.01.2022 Morning, well, finally, I have an appointment to see specialist. Flying to Brisbane on Thursday afternoon and back home early Saturday. And on another note, I am doing my certificate 1 & 2 in faceting. Starts this coming Monday and finishes Friday.
