23.01.2022 It was such a pleasure to provide this client with a solution to their lighting problem. Initially they wanted to install down lights but due to there being no provisions for this, we had to come to up with a different solution which we did! We recommended the installation of two strip lights in an aluminium channel. This resulted in a clean and modern look, plenty of light and a very satisfied customer.

21.01.2022 Don't forget to turn your ceiling fans back to Summer mode. Most fans have both a summer mode (rotates anti-clockwise) and winter mode (rotates clockwise). In summer the fan creates a breeze which cools the people under it and circulates air around the room. ... In winter the fan pushes the hot air above it down (without really creating a breeze).

21.01.2022 What colour is your smoke alarm? If you answered 'a bit yellow' then it's time for an upgrade. There is a serious side to this though, most smoke alarms have a ten year lifetime and if they've turned a nice yellow colour that's a pretty clear indication the smoke alarm is not in it's optimal working order and you need to replace it.

21.01.2022 Lighting Tip Correct bathroom vanity lighting should consist of vertical fittings either side of the mirror at about eye level to ensure an even light is cast across the face. This will also help to minimise any unflattering shadows.

18.01.2022 We recently completed a job for a lovely client in Riverstone who wanted to get a few things ready around the home to ensure their home is safe for the arrival of their newborn in a few months. They wanted a fresh modern looking power point in the laundry to go with the splash back, in addition, they needed another power point installed under the bench so that they didn't have to plug their washer into the bench top power point & have the lead messily hanging around. We also tidied up the leads hanging from the TV, we installed a recessed wallbox behind the TV which means all the cables can be hidden behind the TV making it safe for the pending arrival of their new baby.
