24.01.2022 Yesterday the staff from the South Australian Produce Market, along with our team from Pick A Local, Pick SA!, rolled up their sleeves to pack Xmas hampers for ...Foodbank SA We are pleased to announce we have broken their 2020 record for most hampers packed in a day with a whopping 506 completed! As each box contains 21 items, that means we packed 10,626 pieces between us! Unreal!! Each year, Foodbank SA undertake the mammoth task of individually packing 10,000 Christmas hampers. We encourage everyone to help out this incredible South Aussie cause and spend some time making someone else's Christmas special. Foodbank can't do it alone so please, lend a hand (but good luck at beating our record!) See more

17.01.2022 Christmas Eve fun with the team at Costa this morning.

17.01.2022 The South Australian Government announced today that South Australia is going into a hard lockdown as of midnight 18th November 2020 for the next 6 days. The South Australian Produce Market is considered an essential service and will remain open to supply the fresh fruit and vegetable retailer sector. Green Grocers are also an essential service under the definition of fresh fruit retail. We strongly recommend that Growers, Wholesalers and Retail Fruit Shops carry with them an... essential services letter at all times. This is what the lockdown means for the out sight: Wearing of masks for the next 6 days is now a government requirement and everyone on site must wear a mask at all times. Anyone not wearing a mask will be removed from the Market and reported to Police; Retailers are not permitted to walk the floor for the next 6 days. Wholesalers and growers will need to deliver to your vehicle only; Cash and Carry access times will be in place for the next 6 days; There will be no Café or catering on site for the next 6 days; and It is up to your employer to provide you with the correct PPE (ie. masks) and hand sanitiser. If you have any symptoms DO NOT come to the market, this will have serious implications if COVID19 is detected on this site. SAPML COVID marshals will be enforcing these rules to the letter of the directive. It is up to us all to follow these rules so that we can remain open and provide these essential services to South Australia. To avoid delays and frustration please use both the front and rear entry gates. With temperature testing occurring for all market patrons there will be some delay in accessing the site. Please be patient. For regular updates please check www.sahealth.sa.gov.au. We will also be updating you periodically as required. If you have any questions, please contact Jamie Paddick Operations Manager 0409 251 850

13.01.2022 AGM ADJOURNED Dear Shareholders The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of South Australian Produce Market Limited (Company) is presently scheduled to be held on Thursday 26 November 2020. However, due to the current lockdown restrictions imposed in South Australia until Wednesday 25 November 2020 (and potential for further restrictions after that date), the Board has decided to adjourn the AGM until the 19th of January 2021.... The Board has made this decision so as to ensure that all shareholders have a reasonable opportunity to participate in the meeting and are not constrained by the current lockdown restrictions. This notice of adjournment of the AGM is given in accordance and is compliant with the Company's Constitution and the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and is consistent with the statement released by ASIC in May 2020, which allows the Company to extend the deadline for holding its AGM from 5 months to 7 months after the end of its financial year (being 30 June 2020). The Company can therefore hold its AGM at any time up until 31 January 2020. 07.01.2022 It has been a challenging year however it’s also important to celebrate our achievements - here is a look back at the year that was at SAPML. 2020 has been a year that has tested the Market and our staff's resilience. The year began with the dreadful bushfires and, as we were recovering from that, a world-wide Pandemic. If that wasn’t enough, an outbreak of Mediterranean Fruit Fly in eight suburbs across metropolitan areas of Adelaide placed further pressure on the Market an...d our staff. Against this backdrop, the Market and our staff continued to be resilient and resourceful ensuring the continued supply of fresh produce to the community. I would like to wish a Merry Xmas to all the SAPML team and Market community and their families and look forward to a better start to 2021. Angelo Demasi CEO South Australian Produce Market Limited
