13.01.2022 TIP OF THE WEEK = CORN!! www.growingvegetables.co Its nearly time to start harvesting corn so here's a great tip for keeping the freshly picked corn nice and sw...eet: Fill an Esky with ICE COLD WATER, take it with you to the veggie patch. As soon as you pick the corn cob plunge it directly into the ice cold water and leave there while you continue picking the rest of the crop. When your finished simply dry the cobs and store in the refrigerator. By plunging the cobs straight away in ice cold water you are stopping the starches from forming.
