22.01.2022 This is an important one for this time of the year. Consistency with your movement, your nutrition and your well-being (sleep, stress balance etc). These things tie together to make us feel good (or not so good). Being consistent is what will get you through the silly season and will set you up for success well into the New Year #mondaymotivation #choices #wellbeing #consistencyiskey

20.01.2022 REAL MUMS REAL STORIES This my friend and fellow Body Beyond Baby affiliate. Always inspired by Alicia and I’m sure we can all relate to her story THIS IS MY BODY....Continue reading

20.01.2022 REAL MUMS REAL STORIES Woohoo!!! We are so excited to introduce you to Brittiney. Here is her #nomoreprebabybody message... "To me #nomoreprebabybody doesn't just speak for the body, it speaks for the mind too! Once we become mums, we can lose who we are so easily. ... Not only do we look in the mirror and see our pre baby body is no more, but we are also try to stay so strong because we are the mother of the family, we are the leaders. Deep down we are drowning and don't know where or who to turn to for help. My journey was not just about weight loss, it was never to recover my pre baby body, it was to find myself, to learn to love myself again, to challenge myself to beat my depression and anxiety. Once I became a mum,I lost the motivation to do anything for myself. I felt guilty, like I was being selfish. It mutated into a mental block where I just couldn't do anything for myself at all. I learned to push those barriers. I’ve finally gained control of my mind, through exercise I’ve learned how to challenge myself, how to be motivated again and smile every day. Each day I get closer to loving my body, and I'm ok with that. Things take time." You ROCK Brittany To join our mission take a photograph of YOURSELF, alone, with your kids or friends wearing something that represents this message for you with the #nomoreprebabybody hashtag written on your, your clothing or the image. Tag @bodybeyondbaby and share with us (and the world) so you can be represented too & so more and more women can see that no one size fits all and we are all BRAVE and STRONG and ENOUGH. We are all in this together and we can create real change!

16.01.2022 Happy Saturday!! Here’s a great quick read while you are lying in bed this weekend, feeding kids or waiting for the washing machine to finish. Training to the weakest link immediately post birth is vital but it’s also a guide that we should apply well beyond that first year post birth (this notion also applies to men). Post birth, your weakest link will likely be your pelvic floor and abdominals. However, years ahead it may be a weak knee, hip problem or ankle. ... This article focuses on women post birth but you can apply this to rehab any weak link you may have. The take aways here are - seek out a Women’s Health Physio or ordinary Physio to have your weakest link identified work with a qualified fitness professional don’t push through pain give yourself time Get it right now and reap the rewards Head to the Body Beyond Baby website for more great articles or to find a qualified trainer or Women’s Health Physio near you

13.01.2022 Have you seen a Women’s Health Physio? Here’s why you should

12.01.2022 I’ve spent the last two Saturday’s hanging out with some awesome trainers online learning all about about Female Health + Performance with Nardia Norman Coach (female health guru) There have been so many wow moments! So many factors contribute to the ongoing health and well-being of a female that need to be addressed in order for a female to flourish ... This model below is just the tip of the iceberg. Who would have these components ordered differently? Education is priceless! I’m looking forward to implementing this knowledge with my clients so I can have women feeling fantastic and living their best lives

11.01.2022 It’s a bit of an emotional day today. My baby, my first born turns 16 A lot has happened during those years, we’ve lived in multiple houses, across different states in Australia, we’ve lost loved ones, experienced the lowest of lows, made life long friends and gained a ton of perspective. Life is a roller coaster. Live it. Feel it. Enjoy it #firstborn #elizamadeline

08.01.2022 The #nomoreprebabybody campaign is back for 2020! Myself and the entire Body Beyond Baby affiliate team are pushing hard for change. We are determined to change the attitude of the fitness industry and our community by removing the pressure on new mums to get their "pre baby bodies" back. #nomoreprebabybody for me means having the confidence to wear bathers or a nice dress without feeling insecure. For those who know me or have seen me probably think this is a silly stateme...nt...... I have a small figure so what's my problem you may ask? I've had four children, my body is not the same as it was pre kids and never will be. It took me QUITE a few years to accept this and to be happy with it. Women come in all shapes and sizes and these shapes and sizes change pre and post birth. The commentary and focus on the way a mum looks needs to stop A woman's body is bloody amazing!! Let's be strong and confidence women! Feel good about ourselves and thrive

07.01.2022 6am crew finishing off with some court shuttles and stadium runs this morning Quite often the best part of the day - as the sun is rising, it’s calm and quiet. Ten years ago you couldn’t have paid me enough to get up before the kids were awake but fast forward a few years, my youngest is now 8. I now enjoy and appreciate the peace of being up and about at 6am (child-free). ... Whether it be for work or my own health + well-being this is a favourite place for me to hang out with some absolute legends who are not only clients but have become friends too. Some days we feel like we are killing it, other days we are just going through the motions but it doesn’t matter, we are up, moving, chatting and having a laugh and enjoying the freedom of a still Hobart morning www.freedomfitnesstas.com.au

03.01.2022 Work or play (both )! I designed the Freedom for Mums program to help mums regain confidence in their body post birth (whether that be weeks or years on) and to provide a pathway to return to exercise safely in a supportive, non intimidating environment. This part of my job is an absolute pleasure and one that I feel very privileged to be part of Body Beyond Baby Safe Return to Exercise
