23.01.2022 Cookidoo is fantastic for meal planning. I had some beautiful mushrooms from the Ballarat Mushroom Farm in Smythes Creek and Australian bacon from the Smythsdale butcher, Tarna valley farm and fresh chicken. I typed, chicken, mushroom into the search box and 48 results came up. The bacon is caramelised with onions to make a jam, which goes on the pastry first and keeps it from going soggy! Buttery golden pastry and so delicious. Hubby, (Mr meat and 3 veg) went back for seconds!! Oh, and I enjoyed it with a glass of rosé from Nintingbool winery

18.01.2022 After watching this season's MasterChef, we saw nearly every contestant make ice-cream using almost anything as ingredients and almost always used the Thermomix! Having made Liquorice Ice-cream which was easy and amazing, I discovered this recipe using butternut pumpkin and thought, "why not"!? Even the caramelised nut crumble is easily whipped up in minutes
