21.01.2022 MEET THE REHN’S // real wedding All the warm fuzzies over here ... Jess has been one of my clients since forever. Jess and Brad are just rad. ... He is quite literally the happiest guy ever, it’s nice to have met a groom, this rarely happens for us! It makes it even more special to work on a wedding that you can see how much they adore one another in real life. Jess has more hair than a small village of people put together, so taming her hair and making it look soft and feminine was key. Makeup - the ever classic bride, a timeless look for both hair and makeup. Teamed with a beautiful natural tan from Texture & Hue such a winning look. Big shout to Zoe Campbell Photography & Design who photographed this stunning wedding despite being 450 months pregnant on the day of the wedding ... absolutely smashed it out of the ball park. I am your hugest fan Zoe, coudos to you for being such a trooper! 13.01.2022 ELLEN & JOSH // real wedding Well aren’t these guys aren’t the cutest darn couple you ever did see (or meet) !! Working on this particular wedding was incredibly special to me, I have known Josh and his family since I was a little kid. ... Josh, the man behind Whistler Wines and his beautiful, joyful, adorable bride Ellen were married at the gorgeous family cellar door late last year. I loved everything about the look that Ellen went for, bucking tradition and keeping her sweet wavy bob on the day teamed with Stunning, fresh glowy makeup, it just suited her natural easy gojng style and personality to a tee. Absolutely perfect for a long lunch wedding in summer. There was so so much joy in this day and it was an absolute honor and joy to be part of their big day. This is where I throw in a shameless plug and tell you to do yourselves a favor and go and spend an arvo at Whistler Wines when you get a chance. These guys are pushing the non traditional boundaries and are absolutely the next generation of amazing crazy cool wine makers in the Barossa - as well as providing one of the most chilled environments in which you can really enjoy the true modern Barossa. 08.01.2022 JUDITH & DAVID // real wedding Earlier in the year I had the absolute joy of working with Judith & her super fun amazing bride squad out at Kingsford Homestead I’m gonna put it out there it was one of my faves of the season ... Judith’s hair and makeup look was an absolute dream to create. Her scraped chignon just got better and better in the wind as the day went on making for the prettiest natural done but undone look. Makeup, for me, had feelings of 90’s supermodel stuff ... so timeless. Made up but not. And as you can see in the last image was totally bulletproof from morning til night. We had the best fun with the girls. Loved every minute. Just what a wedding should be. A Relaxed joyous celebration without any sweating of the small stuff Goldlight Photography ah-mazinggggg!!!! 07.01.2022 Meet Jade & her ahhhhhhmazing squad. Last November we had the absolute joy of working with Jade on her incredible wedding on her family’s property on the outskirts of mount pleasant. It was really special. There’s no place like home for a wedding.... This bunch of girls were mad. Like good, mad... of course! They knew a good time so much so that there were a few touch ups required before we had even finished because of the dazzling array of dance moves they got stuck into rather early on in the piece. I like that... a good time knows no boundaries. The girls all sported a beautiful wave in the hair and a stunning warm neutral palette of makeup. My fave kind of beautiful. And perfectly suited to the natural golden environment of the setting. Thank you so much Jade & girls for showing us the funnest time and making our work ever so fun. 07.01.2022 REAL WEDDING // Ashleigh & Bryce So excited to see this images! Ashleigh and Bryce were married earlier in the year, and I have to say I have never met a bride who was so full of love for not only the groom but her entire squad. It was an absolute joy to witness. ... I loved the super relaxed look Ashleigh chose for herself and her maids. Super undone, effortless hair which I think played perfectly to the wind... and natural beautiful makeup tied back perfectly to the natural relaxed feel of their whole day. It’s so important that your look reflects the feel of your event and these guys absolutely aced it. And we loved creating it too. 06.01.2022 HAPPPY EASTER // Wishing all of my beautiful brides a safe & happy Easter. I’m actually taking Easter off for the first time (ever) to spend with my husband Jordan, son Parker (7) & Daughter Ivy (4). ... We have no plans just some relaxing family time, And I cannot wait! I have no idea what Saturday’s at home are like so I’m a tad excited!! I hope you all have some lovely down time with family & friends too. She is the master wedding cake maker at Make It Yours - Cakes and Cupcakes in the Barossa, and yes you do need her to be making your wedding cake. She’s a consummate professional. ... Back to topic (I am easily distracted by cake) Dana was married last August. Her Maids were unreal, one of her Maids is also a magic florist Leaf and Lotus and nailed all the blooms - her whole day was chill as you could ever imagine. I loved the look these girls went for Textural natural easy. A beautiful version of them selves, and if you know me at all by now, this is the only way to look on your wedding day. Special mention to her amazing eco dress from Calèche Bridal House sustainably made from bamboo, this stole my heart a little.. When another wedding vendor asks you to be part of thier wedding there’s probably no bigger compliment.
