24.01.2022 5 Tips To Help Improve Your Health - 1. EAT REAL FOOD Can you look at your food and know exactly what is in it ? When you look at an apple, you know its in it most natural state and apple is its only ingredient. But when you look at food that is processed half the time we dont even know what half of the ingredients even are, so how is our body meant to know. 2. SLEEP !!... We live in such a go go go world that sleep has lost its priority. We seem to need to be on that constant grind. We have started relying on things like caffeine to keep us going when all we need to do is start prioritising sleep again. Our bodies need sleep to rebuild every. Its when majority of our digestion, repairing and restoring of our organs and systems takes place. 3. HYDRATE Our body is over 60% water. That in itself should say enough. We know we need food to work properly and yet we seem to forget about water. Without it our vital organs will cease to work such as the brain and heart at around 70% water and the lungs 80%. 4. LIFT Resistance training has been proven to not only aid in fat loss but also increase neurological responses, increases in anabolic endocrine secretion, and help to maintain or slow down (loss of) bone density. 5. 23.01.2022 We all start somewhere - When I first started out I just wanted to be skinny. I was always into sport, pretty fit but skinny fat. No real muscle, eating minimal as I thought that was the way to do it. - Fast forward 5 years and a lot has changed. I train to be strong and fit. Consistent heavy weights and minimal cardio depending on what my short term goals are. Im eating over double what I used to and have a lot of balance.... - Its taken time, perseverance and trial and error. Ive been through stages of getting lean for aesthetics and stages of getting stronger for performance.
