24.01.2022 Case Study 2. 88yo female in general good health. Symptoms - coughing with slight choking sensation and sneezing after virtually every evening meal. Also an irritating, soft cough upon waking every morning subsiding once up and about. Duration of symptoms is years with no conclusive cause. A chest x-ray 2 years ago revealed some mild damage to the upper lungs apparently from childhood bronchial asthma so it was put down to that. I had been treating her regularly for feet an...d shoulder issues so her body was already in general balance. She agreed for me try to help her with the above respiratory issues. I treated her once using specific Bowen moves to address the swallowing reflex and to stimulate the Vagus nerve (one of its functions is to stimulate the oesophagus and lungs). That was 3 weeks ago and so far she has had absolutely no further issues after the evening meal and major reduction of the morning cough to "only now and again". I have treated her with a follow up treatment to help maintain the effect and so far so good. She hasn't changed anything about her habits or diets and had no other treatments. I will be taking extra precautions with spacing appointments so that there is 15 minutes in between clients to allow for disinfecting surfaces and changing linen. 14.01.2022 What a difference Bowen Therapy can make! Tense muscles, muscle imbalances, injury and adhered connective tissue can pull on the spine and joints enough over time to create pain, discomfort, joint misalignments and postural issues such as mild scoliosis (abnormal curvature of the spine). Bowen Therapy has a 6 week treatment for scoliosis which can balance the spine, reset tight muscles and release fascial adhesions. Week 1 is a full spinal balance then a weekly 20 min appoin...tment for 5 weeks is required. This can be repeated from time to time for maintenance of improvements. 1. Week 1 photos (top). Thanks for all your support of me and of Bowen Therapy. I truly look forward to seeing you all and treating you once again when COVID-19 is in our memories and our new normal life allows us to reconnect with each other. At least we can still focus on our wellbeing a little each day in many ways, such as eating healthy, ...drinking plenty of water, exercising, keeping regular sleep hours, helping others, finding new ways to challenge our minds and to relax and of course staying in touch with friends and family. 08.01.2022 Thought I’d share some Bowen Therapy results from time to time. I’m so impressed by the gentle power of this amazing technique. Case Study 1. Fran Week 1 - client presented with tight neck, constant and worsening headaches, fatigue, anxiety and stress, insomnia and a creeping crawling feeling under the skin of her legs and feet. Clearly her nervous system was in overload. ... Immediately her headache was mild and (never returned to severe and felt more relaxed. Day after treatment, no creeping skin in legs, only in feet, reduced anxiety and she slept better. She felt achy all over. This passed in a day or so. Week 2 - In the week after treatment she had no headaches, was sleeping well and had a mild neck pain at the top. Stress and anxiety gone. Week 3 - since 3rd treatment 2 weeks ago, no headaches, sleeping well, no creeping under skin in legs or feet, feeling and has more vitality. Fran is now able to train at the gym better and enjoy her days more. Bowen Therapy is so calming for the nervous system, turning the flight/fight response to our life stresses into recover and rest mode allowing our body to heal and repair itself.

I have a new batch of 100% soy wax and will be making some citronella to ward off the mozzies, some unscented ones for sensitive noses, some French Lavender and some Frangipani and more. ... 03.01.2022 Case Study 3 Baby Bowen It can be worrying for a parent when their baby has been previously regular with bowel movements but suddenly goes weeks without. First 2 weeks, then 3 1/2 weeks. Although this can be nothing to be overly concerned about when a baby is being solely breastfed, however Bowen Therapy can gently stimulate the bowels to move again, giving the parent peace of mind. I saw an adorable baby boy 3 times, 2 a week apart and then a 3rd a fortnight later. After eac...h visit there was success and he was completely regular again after the 3rd visit, even though he was still being solely breastfed at the time. Here's a few words from his Mum. "I took my 3 month old to see Sarah after not having a bowel movement for 3 1/2 weeks. I was after a gentle treatment that may help him. After the first treatment things started to move and by the third treatment he is definitely more regular. Sarah was so gentle with my son and I am blown away by the results".
