25.01.2022 "Imagination" I wasn't going to post this since it is just a visual reference for a painting I am going to do, but as this was my first proper session using Photoshop I am quite happy with how it turned out (although it took at least 7 hours straight to edit this). Disclaimer: I did NOT draw the creatures that are coming out of the book, I just picked some Google images as a quicker way to see what my ideas would look like in real life. (I will be drawing my own creatures for the actual painting though).

14.01.2022 First painting of 2020 done. (20cm 20cm) "Solros" Interesting discovery: the chemical reaction between the gold leaf, white acrylic paint and gloss varnish created blue. All of the blue parts on the bee were white before I varnished the painting. But I kinda like how it looks so I left it as it is. (So it's accidentally like a hybrid of the blue banded bee) There is some gold leaf on the bee and the middle of the sunflower.

My theme was 'The destruction of nature by humans' Dimensions(WxDxHx): 52cm x 103cm x 38cm Title: 'What have we done?' Messages of the piece: This piece represents three different attitudes people have toward environmental issues. Harmful: The one with the axe and rope represents the people that harm nature and animals for monetary gain. 08.01.2022 Just finished my 3rd acrylic painting commission, of this cute guy named Marsipan.

03.01.2022 Just put together a rough reference image for my next (acrylic) painting. It will be on a 55cm 65cm canvas. The circle will be done with gold foil. Inspired by the "teddy bear hunt" done in some places, to distract kids from the pandemic. I also chose the Allium flower because it kinda looks like a Covid molecule. (It also reminded me of a Dr.Seuss Lorax style tree.)
