25.01.2022 ~ 30 DAY KICKSTART ~ I dont know about you but I am looking forward to this! After giving birth to another beautiful baby girl almost three weeks ago, it has been an adjustment going back to a newborn after nearly 4 years. ... The juggle of two children, lack of sleep, eating when I can, limited outside time and sitting loads for feeding. The transition is real and alot of my daily rituals have gone by the way side, along with having allowed foods back into my diet that I know have a negative effect on my body and how I feel. If you are wanting to reset your health in July, PM me for the details and we can do this together! Lets do this!! Sarah

25.01.2022 So much goodness in this slowercooker. One of the beautiful How to Plate Up recipes available apart of the program I run. This one is the Grass Fed Veal Osso Bucco but as I was fresh out of Osso Bucco meat, I replaced it with some organic chicken thighs I had in the fridge. So... good! Particularly during this cooler weather we are now having. There are hundreds of recipes available in my tribe that are simple, nutritious and DELICIOUS! The recipes are gluten free, dairy fr...ee and sugar free. If you would like to know more comment with your favourite food emoji or send me a PM. #16w2w #kickstart10 #howtoplateup #slowcookermeals #saturdaynightdinner #nourishment

19.01.2022 >> BREAKFAST<< Who loooves..... breakfast time!! We do!! ... This morning we had banana pancakes topped with strawberries, chocolate chips and maple syrup. I also tried my hand at making chocolate milk!! Almond milk, a little cacao powder and some vanilla complete. YEWL!! This was a hit with both the big and little kids in the house. Yesterday we had mixed berry smoothie bowls topped with some granola, which had a good mix of plant based carbs, fats and protein. Although our breakfasts are full of wholefood goodness and nutrient dense, they are both simple to make and are DELICIOUS! What's on your breakfast menu? #breakfastfood #pancakes #smoothiebowls #dairyfree #glutenfree #refinedsugarfree #foodisfuel #foodismedicine

15.01.2022 ~ WATER AND HYDRATION ~ Drinking enough water each day is something that I have always struggled with but is incredibly important for our health and wellbeing. SO! How much water should you drink each day? ... As a minimum we should be consuming 40mls for every kg of body weight. However, the amount is highly dependant on your activity levels, what other foods are in your diet (e.g - are you consuming things that dehydrate you, like alcohol, excess salt and coffee?) and the time of year also makes a difference. When youre dehydrated, your blood thickens and puts extra strain on your heart. This is due to pumping that thick blood around your body and through your liver. When blood thickens, liver detoxification can also decrease which means that now, you might start having a build up of toxins in your body. So we just need to drink more right? Yes and no. If were drinking from plastic bottles, youre also getting a whole heap of chemicals mixed in with your water, that your liver needs to filter out. After evaluating 18 bottled water products, one study found nearly 25,000 chemicals in bottled water. These chemicals impact on not only our liver, but our endocrine system too. Tap water then? Again - yes and no. All tap water is treated with chemicals like chlorine and fluoride to make them safe to drink. There can also be traces of lead and dirt in tap water, which the liver also needs to filter out. Id recommend using a good quality water filter to help reduce the chemical load in your tap water, and if thats not an option, add some fresh green juices to your day. Celery juice is incredibly hydrating, helps clean out your liver and also helps with hydrochloric production in your gut. How do you hydrate yourself?

15.01.2022 Day 6 of the Kickstart and I am so grateful for time at home with my family, to sit and share our meals together, to rest, to stretch, to move my body and to take the time to wash my hair!! My week has included making sure that I move throughout the day. I have tried to go for a walk in my lunch break most days as working in an office means that I sit on my bottom far too much...! I have noticed this alot more since working fulltime these past few months. The further alo...ng into my pregnancy I get, the more uncomfortable it becomes to sit for long periods, particularly for my lower abdomen. So making this a priority has been super important. Not to mention the fact that I LOVE getting outdoors, wind in hair, taking in all the sights, smells and sounds. Today I started my day with some green pancakes topped with some coconut yogurt, raspberries, granola, activated flaxseed and a little maple syrup. Yep! Its a really good quality pure and organic one. The babe had seconds!!

15.01.2022 Hey beautiful humans, Sorry, that I have been a bit quiet on here lately. Life has been a bit crazy for me this past month which has meant I have needed to take a step back briefly. I hope you are all fabulous and adjusting to this new way of life we have been thrown into. In many ways I feel this is a blessing and this is the perfect opportunity for all of us to reflect on the aspects of our life that no longer serve us and the things we want to focus on and prioritise more.... For me I am really enjoying and super grateful for the extra time that my daughter and I get to spend with my husband because he is not working ridiculous hours at the moment. Dont forget to reach out if you need to chat and remember to checkin with those around you, you never know who might be needing it today. This is a quote I found and loved that I felt was fitting to the current circumstances we are in. Big love Sarah

15.01.2022 Enjoying my time at home at the moment... To be able to sit, be present and take the time to truly enjoy my morning smoothie bowl, rather than eating it on the run feels so good! It is the way we should enjoy our food. It is so much better for our digestion and gut health. When we smell our food our mouth starts to salivate, getting our saliva and digestive enzymes ready to help us break down our food as we chew it. BUT you must chew your food...! Your digestive system cann...ot breakdown chunky bits of food swallowed. It all begins in the mouth. Todays smoothie included: Coconut water Almond milk Spinach Avocado Hemp seeds Chia seeds Vanilla Complete Protein Pineapple and Mango Then once blended I topped it with some quinoa puffs. SO GOOOOOD...!

12.01.2022 ~ CHANGE IS UPON US ~ Change is real right now. It is happening all over the WORLD. For some this is creating alot of stress and anxiety and for others they are just taking it one day at a time. Change and moving out of our comfort zones can be hard and it is felt differently by everyone. Theres no right or wrong way, there is just your way. ... If you are someone who is experiencing stress or suffering from some anxiety, try taking a few minutes to do some breathe work. When I say this I mean BIG diaphramic breathes (into your belly) and let your breathe out slowly. Inhale through your nose, hold it for a fews seconds and exhale through your mouth. Do this process 5-6 times and once finished you should feel much calmer. Not only will it bring you back to a state of calm, but it will also help aid your digestion and help your immune system to be able to fight off illness which is lowered when you are in a state of stress. However you are managing, remember to reach out to the people around you if you need to talk and to check in with others. Human connection is such an innate human need. You never know who else is feeling similarly to you and might need some support. If you have no support or dont feel comfortable talking to those around you please contact me. I am here and happy to have a chat with you if you need to. Big love to you all. We will get through this together! #deepbreaths #stressrelief #theworldischanging #stayconnected #hereforyou #wewillgetthroughthis #love

12.01.2022 Happy Tuesday!!

11.01.2022 Just for a bit of fun... Mine were gratitude, connection and power. What are yours??

10.01.2022 ~ MUSINGS FROM EARLIER IN THE WEEK ~ My focus has been on making sure that I get more movement into my day. Most days this week I have used my lunch break to go for a walk. It has been beautiful... Fresh air, sunshine, the smell of the gumtrees, being surrounded by nature and soaking in the GREEN through my eyes whilst also having some ME time to be alone with my thoughts. I have also been trying to make a conscious effort to be present and take in what I am feeling, hearin...g and smelling in these moments. I was also reminded earlier in the week of just how different each and everyone of us are, and how we all cope and react differently when put in different situations. It reminded me that using your voice and communicating what you need IS necessary in times when you feel overloaded and overwhelmed by what lays before you. Yet it can be such a difficult thing to do for so many INCLUDING me! I am not good at asking for help, even when I know I need it. I found this interesting because what I saw as such an easy solution for another (use your voice, communicate and ask for help), was actually something that I find really difficult to do myself. On the flip side I am always there to help and offer support to others when they need it. Opportunities to grow are there when we choose to acknowledge them. Who else feels like this when they feel overloaded and overwhelmed?

09.01.2022 I am so excited for the Spring Edition of 16 Weeks to Wellness to launch! Theres a heap of new recipes and videos from the health professionals and Ambassadors who run this program with me. What I am most excited about though is the new modules! Health education is my FAVOURITE part of the program. I know that the more our clients understand the WHY behind what to eat (and how to do it simply), it is so much easier for them to start making changes. How else do I know this? B...ecause this was me 2 years ago when I said YES to me and my health. I was craving the education to be able to fuel myself properly rather than just being told do this or eat this, and not really understanding the WHY behind it, in order to make lasting lifestyle changes that stuck. One simple change at a time. Heres what weve got coming up in the next 16 weeks: - Module 1: Transformational Alchemy - Module 2: Plant Community - Module 3: Fear Nothing - Module 4: Your Brains Best Friend - Module 5: Spiritual Health - Module 6: Happy Hormones - Module 7: Movement Culture - Module 8: Confidence From Within Our members also receive meal plans, hundreds of recipes, eBooks, live videos and nutritional support... and you can get it all for as little as $10 per week. If you want in, comment below with your favourite food emoji or PM me directly and Ill be in touch. Bring on Spring Wellness!

09.01.2022 Were talking about our Winter Wellness Program over in the Raw & Real Tribe Collective, at 2.30pm today WA time. If youd like to tune in, add yourself to the page and well see you there soon!

08.01.2022 I was hanging out for this all day... It was meant to be last nights dinner but decided on fish instead. Chicken Chow Mein FULL of veggies, a little curry powder, tamari sauce and rice noodles. YUM!!... #chowmein #chicken #veggies #nourishment #winterwarmer

07.01.2022 CHICKEN and VEG RISOTTO - Recipe transformation! I made this over the weekend and it was DELICIOUS! I even had the thumbs up from my sibling who evaluates the quality of food by the flavour it has (they went back for seconds) WINNING!! This is one of the first recipes that I learnt to cook after moving out of home when I was 18yrs old with my now husband. It has only just sunk in how much this recipe has transformed with me over the years. ... As I have become more educated about health, nutrition and how to plate up correctly in my personal journey that has lead me to healing my body naturally, this recipe has taken on a new form. Put simply, I have swapped out ingredients that no longer serve or my body for more nourishing ones. When I first started making this recipe it included ingredients like dry white wine, sour cream, parmesan cheese, white rice only and limited types of vegetables, roughly 3-4, with half of each being used. I would then load it up with grated tasty cheddar cheese to serve. Then about 6-7 yrs ago when I started clean eating I transitioned from sour cream to using Greek or natural yogurt to make it creamy and reduced the amount of cheese. Now in the last 2 years that I have been making lifestyle changes including how I choose to nourish and fuel myself with food it has changed even more... I no longer use white wine instead I rely solely on a good quality chicken or vegetable stock. I no longer use greek or natural yogurt instead I use coconut yogurt. I use fresh garlic rather than store bought ready minced garlic. I now use a mixture of both white arborio rice and black rice (helps appeasing to everyones tastebuds). I now add stacks more vegetables to my recipe based on whats in the fridge. This one included spring onion, pumpkin, eggplant, zucchini, mushroom, broccoli and capsicum. I no longer use cheese. I have also swapped the cheaper chicken breast/thigh meat for free range and/or organic meat instead. I now serve up smaller portions and bring it back with some baby spinach or lettuce, sometimes a little avocado as well. Eating well doesnt mean that food has to be tasteless or boring, infact it is absolutely the opposite! It also doesnt mean you have to stop making all your favourites, you might choose to do what I have done and swap out ingredients for more nourishing ones, add extra living food with your meals and serve for satiety rather than fullness. There are so many simple yet delicious recipes available as part of the programs that I run with my tribe. If you would love to know more about how you can learn to do this yourself, leave an emoji in the comments or PM me and we can have a chat. Big love, Sarah

06.01.2022 I was gifted some time by my littlest lady today as she slept. And so some weeding was done in the back garden. Very impressed with how much I got done. One whole garden bed down, another couple to go. My eldest helped me for short bursts, in between riding her bike and trike, doing imaginative play, making grass pies in Peppers dog bowl and hanging out with Oscar. ... Once the little one woke up, we all headed right down the back for a nice walk where we stopped to play pirates in the cubby house and visited Zs icecream shop at our makeshift table!! #thegiftoftime #twodaughters #weedingthegarden #makebelieve #imaginativeplay #sunshinefordays #therapeutic #friyays #lovemygirls #grateful

06.01.2022 Day 1 of the Kickstart program I run with my tribe! I made sure I got some movement, sunshine and nourishment into my day. I absolutely LOVE the brocolli soup which is one of a collection of recipes available in the tribe. Hubby also put on a slow cooker for dinner tonight which I topped with a gluten free and dairy free damper like topping (his fav)! I love the Kickstart program. It such a great way to reset at beginning of each month. If you think you need some of this in your life let me know as its not too late!

05.01.2022 ~ PRETTY PINK ~ Afternoon smoothies for the whole family! They all approved this beautiful blend I put together, even our littlest love had a taste and seemed to love it too! Dragon Fruit, Pineapple, Passionfruit, almond milk, coconut water, avocado, zucchini, chia seeds, rolled oats and vanilla complete plant protein. ... Such a great option for an afternoon snack when your child tells you they're hungry. PLUS absolutely devine on warm day like we had today in Adelaide.

05.01.2022 I was going to cook this up for Mothers Day lunch but plans changed so I made a smaller one for dinner instead. HOME MADE LASAGNE!! This beauty is gluten free, dairy free, full of veg and was made with chicken mince rather than beef mince on this occasion. If youre not a meat eater or you just LOVE your veg you can easily omit the meat. ... THEN I dished up smaller portions and brought it back with the beautiful freshness and living nutrients of salad!! TIP: If you were not wanting to use lasange sheets you can replace them with sliced veg to use as your layers. Eg - Eggplant, zucchini or sweet potato.

05.01.2022 Fall in love with taking care of yourself... Quite often for so many of us we miss this part of the puzzle to true health and healing. We focus on doing what we think we ought to be doing rather than enjoying the process. We try to do too much all at once and end up overwhelmed and giving up rather than making one simple change after another and sticking with it. We see nourishment, movement and healing as a chore rather than a celebration of what we are capable of and how ...empowering it is with each moment of growth and triumph. We focus on the short game rather than the long game where true health and healing will be present if only we had the courage and allowed ourselves too lean in. We compare our journey with that of others rather than accepting where we are at, knowing that with consistency we will achieve our goals. We place to much emphasis on how the world will perceive us rather than on how we think and feel about ourselves. We strive for unattainable perfection rather than making practice our focus. Take care of you for you. Fall in love with the process. You cant pour from an empty cup... #selflove #selfcare #nourishyourself #practiceoverperfection #loveyourself #healthandhealing #holisticapproach #onesimplechange #moveyourbody

05.01.2022 ~ ZUCCHINI FRITTERS ~ Made some of these beauties today prepping for the week ahead. Let me tell you these are DELICIOUS, super SIMPLE and are a hit with the whole family!! These make for an easy snack or are great paired with a beautiful salad for lunch or dinner. This recipe is gluten free and dairy free. There are so many more recipes like this one in our tribe! ... If you would like the recipe leave a comment below or PM me.

04.01.2022 ~ ENJOY EASTER ISOLATION STYLE ~ Why not try making some healthy Easter Eggs!... These could be what the Easter Bunny leaves for the kids, BIG and SMALL or could just be a fun activity that the whole family can get in on! These are gluten free, dairy free and VEGAN - and look DELICIOUS! I came across this recipe in one of the raw food ebooks, available in the 16 Weeks to Wellness Program. Theres around 50 more just like this, so Ive got plenty more I can make right in my own kitchen :-)! I dont know about you, but for me homemade goodies ALWAYS taste sooo much better. I will be trying this one out for sure! HERES THE RECIPE : (Note - You will need moulds for this). Chocolate: - 2/3 cup coconut oil - 1/3 cup cacao powder - 3 Tbsp maple syrup - Pinch himalayan pink salt Caramel: - 5 medjool dates, pitted - 2 Tbsp maple syrup - 1 Tbsp almond butter - 1 Tbsp coconut oil - 1 tsp vanilla extract - Pinch himalayan pink salt DIRECTIONS 1. If the coconut oil has solidified, melt under a low temperature and stir until smooth. 2. Add the cacao, maple syrup and salt and mix until smooth. Pour the chocolate into Easter egg moulds until they are about 1/3 full. Freeze until firm (about 10 minutes). 3. Place all the caramel ingredients into a food processor and process on medium-high speed until smooth. Scrape down the sides and continue processing until very smooth. 4. Spoon the caramel mixture into a small snap lock bag and seal. Snip a tiny section of one corner (about 5mm) and squeeze caramel into the centre of each egg, leaving a bit of room on top to cover it with more chocolate. Pour the remaining chocolate over the caramel until the mould is full. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the chocolate mixture for later. Freeze until set. 5. To make a full egg, dab a small amount of the reserved chocolate into the centre of an egg half and sandwich it together with another half. Return to the freezer until set. ENJOY!!!! #healthychocolate #16Weeks2Wellness

04.01.2022 ~ WINTER WARMER ~ I have been rocking this for breakfast in the mornings in my household for something different to the usual smoothie or smoothie bowl. Miss 4 loves this and add banana as well, but you could top this with whatever fruit you like. ... This is a mix of gluten free rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, blueberries and a touch of pure honey. This morning we also had Princess Poppy join us as we ate breakky together. FUN FACT - We all know how important breakfast is and yet their are so many people that skip this meal. I recently read that people who eat breakfast in the morning typically live alot longer AND tend to be leaner than those who dont. So if you are someone who would like to improve your health including wanting to live a long life or youre wanting to lose some weight. This is one simple change you can make in order to improve your health and wellbeing. #porridge #moderntwist #nourishment #eatyourbreakfast #activatesyourmetabolism #livelonger #beleaner #onesimplechange

01.01.2022 AND IN THE MORNING IM MAKING WAFFLES! Super excited to be able to make waffles again!! It has been too long... My old waffle machine died a few months back and its only now that I have a new one. One of the family favs particularly on the weekends when we have more time to spend in the kitchen. ... We rocked them for breaky yesterday and then again today as we had leftovers. I was so grateful to be able to sit and eat these with my girl this morning before childcare and work which is usually a smoothie on the run as we head out the door. #waffles #wholefoodrecipe #sundayvibes #kidinthekitchen #sherocks #nourishment #grateful #lovehersomuch

01.01.2022 COVID-19 VIRUS - OH MY!! There is so much fear circulating around the COVID-19 virus at the moment - Italy is on total lock down and there are thousands of people globally who have caught it. Calm will go along way at this time. Below are a few simple things you can do to help protect yourself and your family:... ~ Clean your phone screen - REGULARLY! ~ Your phone is one of the germiest, dirtiest things you own - and we touch it all the time!! Our fingers and faces come into contact with phones every day, and those germs can end up in our food and mouths very easily. ~ Go to bed earlier ~ Sleep is when your body does most of its repairing. If youre not sleeping enough, it means your body isnt repairing as well as it could be - which could make you more susceptible to being affected by germs and viruses. ~ Breathe diaphramically ~ Stress can create inflammation in the body faster than anything else. Sitting glued to your phone screen or computer screen, clicking on the refresh button to find out the latest horror around this virus isnt doing your immune system any favours. Deep, slow breathing can actively lower stress levels. Set an alarm every hour to remind yourself to BREATHE. Mute the news feed for a while - that alone does wonders for my stress levels! ~ Build immune health by eating fruits and vegetables ~ Your immune system needs nutrients to stay strong and healthy. Fruits and vegetables are some of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet - eating a wide variety regularly helps to add antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and enzymes, which are all nutrients the immune system needs to thrive. Blending up green smoothies and smoothie bowls are my favourite way to get in a heap of fruits and vegetables into my day all at once (there is literally a library of smoothie recipes in my online wellness Tribe!) - so I can make some blended love from a variety of fruit and veg in a yummy way. I also take a whole food concentrate daily, which gives my body the nutrients of over 30 raw fruit and vegetables - which is clinically proven to boost immune function. What other tips do you have to improve immune function? Please share them below!

01.01.2022 WEEK 1 - DAY 1 of 16W2W!! Today was the start of week 1 and day 1 of the new Winter Wellness 16 Weeks to Wellness program. I am SO excited for all our new and existing Tribies who have started. I have done a few of these now and each time I do it theres something more to learn and always new growth to be experienced. It is where my TRUE health journey began and I will forever be grateful to myself for taking action when I did to make my health and wellbeing a priority. ... Now I run this program and others, with a collective of other beautiful servant hearts wanting to make REAL change in this world, with health and wellness at the core. My focus for this round is on my HEALTH as I transition from one child to two children in coming weeks. This means maintaining the basic components for good health as I currently do. If anyone is interested in joining the program it is not too late to start! The trick is as I found out, is to JUST START! Weve got you!

01.01.2022 Unpacked this beauty today and made a vegetable stock to help get a feel for using the machine. I have to be honest though, I had wrestled with purchasing a Thermi for sometime, one because of the cost but two because I am a bit old school and worried that I would lose the art of cooking without one. I want my girls to be able to cook for themselves in the future as well. BUT after hearing so much about them, asking lots of questions, almost buying a cheaper second han...d model that was faulty and having a demo to see how one works I could see the benefit this would bring to my home and family. So here I am starting my Thermi journey. Plus some pics of our afternoon laps of the street on this beautiful sunny warm day with my little loves. We picked some wild flowers as we went and said hi to the sheep, horses and alpacas at the end of our street. And super baby cuddles for hubby as our littlest love wears her bib like a cape. #thermomix #tm6 #veggiestockpaste #fresh #wholefoods #walksandbikerides #wildflowers #farmanimals #sunshine #superbaby #cuddleswithdad

01.01.2022 If you have or have ever had gut issues get on this online event with my girl The Raw Food Girl! Tam is literally a wealth of knowledge in this area and is extremely passionate about the topic of gut health. I am always learning something new. Did you know that our gut is considered our SECOND BRAIN?? And yet it so often gets neglected or is not even considered when experiencing other health issues (physically and mentally).
