25.01.2022 Trying something new, entered my first Triathalon today although I may not be able to run due to injury I can complete the rest. This will give me a base time in which I can train to beat in the future. Research shows us learning new skills and keeping active improves our mental health and wellbeing so Im hitting two for one!

13.01.2022 At the weekend I turn 49 which means my countdown to the half century begins. I have so much I have already achieved but I still dont feel fulfilled. This got me thinking about what do I need to do to achieve that fulfillment, what changes do I need to make? So this week Ive started writing down what statements I need to be able to make on my 50th birthday to feel fulfilled. I will then make a list of 50 things I will have done in that 12 months to achieve those goals.... To keep on track it helps to have accountability partners so Im opening up a group to share in the journey and if you wish join me on making a change in your life over a year. I will set goals and share the methods and techniques I use to achieve them using growth mindset, neurosciene and the power of habits to become fulfilled. I want you join me through the ups and downs, to celebrate those highs and help me through those lows. Discussing at the weekend how exhausted both my husband and I felt we realised it had been over 28 weeks since we had taken a holiday. That had been only an extended weekend too. I have been really busy and so working weekends and through the recent public holiday and as a supportive husband he he...lped too. So this weekend as its my birthday we are going to take the whole weekend off! Yes, no emails, LinkedIn or social media for work. Are you listening to your body? 08.01.2022 After the storm has passed it takes a while for our energy levels to settle. Sometimes we remain feeling agitated and anxious, other times were just exhausted and the power goes out. This week we had a big storm in Perth that put the power out overnight and it still wasnt on in the morning. Discussions turned to who got the power pack (who knew leaving it charging at my bedside would save our bacon) as both our phones were short on power. ... As Kev had a presentation to give to 150 people on line of course he got priority. But it made me think its the same for us when our energy levels are low we have to choose where we spend our energy and work normally wins. This just leads us to feel more depleted so take some time this weekend to recharge your power pack. Practice self care.
