21.01.2022 As of 2pm this afternoon, Sams lessons will be on. However if we get any rain this afternoon they will be out and too wet to play, so lessons may be cancelled at short notice. But for now, we will give it a go

21.01.2022 Hi everyone, so we have received official notice from Tennis NSW that from Friday we will be allowed to conduct Group Lessons again. In saying this, there will be a lot of re-organizing to go with these new rules so I probably wont be putting this into affect until Monday 25th May at this stage. If I am able to organise everything quicker than that I will, but please if youre a student of ours, look out for an email in the next day or so explaining how we will be moving forward with the new guidelines. Thanks. Sarah

20.01.2022 ***Dont forget PRIVATE LESSONS are starting back this week!! *** Tennis NSW has allowed us to do one on one coaching only. So please let me know if you would like to do a Private Lesson with your regular coach while we are all stuck in isolation. Extra hygiene precautions will take place with 15min gaps between lessons so that the coach can wipe down the equipment and gate and allow one lesson to leave before the other arrives.... New students also welcome. We also do adult lessons as well

17.01.2022 Dear tennis community, Further to the Prime Ministers announcements this evening, we will consider the updated advice from Federal Government and provide any updates that affect tennis in NSW as early as possible tomorrow. Thank you and please take care everyone.

16.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone - Stay safe and eat lots of chocolate

16.01.2022 Dear Tennis Community, Further to the Prime Ministers announcement last night, we want to inform you that our guidelines as at Monday 23 March remain in place... and unchanged at this point in time. Tennis Australia and Tennis NSW sought further clarity in relation to the PMs announcement last night and as such we have received advice direct from the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) who liaised with both Local Governments and the Office of Sport to conclude that tennis operations CAN CONTINUE under the current guidelines provided by Tennis Australia and Tennis NSW. The Prime Ministers statement last night also referenced the fact that we are not only facing a health crisis but an economic crisis and that anyone still in work is considered an essential worker. Our current guidelines provide opportunities for our coaching workforce to continue to earn revenue albeit recognising the significant limitations now placed on them. Further to this, we encourage all Club & Association Committees to meet with their coach to discuss how the Club and Association can assist in providing lease relief, reduced court hire fees and other ways to provide support to our Coach workforce who rely on our sport for their livelihood. As we move in to this next phase of operating, we still need to remember to be extra vigilant and keep the safety of ourselves and those around us at the forefront of how we operate. Click below to find out more information. Stay safe and take care.

11.01.2022 The Federal Government has now announced further restrictions on the community to help combat the spread of COVID-19. This includes the closing of venues that a...ttract large social gatherings including indoor sporting facilities, restaurants and cafes. There are still ways that we can play tennis with some important restrictions to ensure we are operating in a way that adheres to the expert health advice. Important updates in the new guidelines include: Indoor tennis facilities and associated gyms must now close Court hire, individual or small group coaching can continue (max. 4 people) Any gyms or sit down cafeterias associated with any tennis venue must now close Coach operated venues are being asked to consider changes in their day-to-day operation This situation is constantly changing, and Tennis NSW is here to help you with any questions you may have. For tennis to remain open, every one of us needs to play our part. Lets work together to demonstrate a level of social responsibility, so we can keep tennis open and provide an appropriate outlet for the people in our communities when they need it most. 04.01.2022 ***COVID-19 UPDATE*** Hi everyone, So all of our TENNIS LESSONS WILL STILL CONTINUE as normal as per advice from Tennis Australia.... I know a lot of other team sports have cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation, but tennis is unlike all of those other contact sports, where we can still play and learn without having to be in close contact with the coach/student. We have hand sanitizer being used on entry and exit of every lesson as well. So please, if you have had your other sports cancelled for the season and would still like your child to get out in the fresh air and do some sport and physical activity, maybe its the time to get into tennis? We do free trial lessons and also accept the Active Kids Vouchers. Please continue to support small businesses where you can, as we are all trying to make a living during this crazy time. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sarah

04.01.2022 What players & people they would become

03.01.2022 This is a statement from Tennis NSW following last nights announcement from the government. The PM did only mention Indoor Sporting Facilities for now, so at this stage we will proceed until we hear otherwise. Other tennis activities i.e comps and hotshots have been cancelled so there wont be many people at the courts at all. Social distancing is possible in our sport. ... Hygiene is paramount. We will continue to follow every guideline set by Tennis Australia. But for now (and this is changing all the time), we are allowed to continue to get out in the fresh air and do our lessons as normal. Please keep an eye on this page as I will update you here when I know anything else.
