17.01.2022 From WA to Turkey. Female officials kicking goals this week.

16.01.2022 As much as exploring SE Asia was excellent and finding some different ways to be active (see gym on boat in Halong Bay), Taking all the corny tourist photos and having a few beverages. I am glad to be back in Australia and into the thick of things!

15.01.2022 Australia has been on fire for months. Millions of hectares of land has been burnt, half a billion animals have been lost, thousands of homes have been destroyed, 18 people have been killed and many more are still missing If you too are feeling helpless in the wake of this disaster, something you can do right now to help is donate money. The following organisations are all accepting donations for the bushfires: NSW Fire Service @nswrfs... VIC Fire Service @cfavic QLD Fire Service @rfbaq SA Fire Service (online at cfsfoundation.org.au) Red Cross @redcrossau Salvation Army @salvosau WIRES @wireswildliferescue Foodbank @@foodbankaus However in the coming weeks at months there will be many other ways you can help. Be kind to yourself and others! Modified #Repost from @re.connection_project

12.01.2022 Great day out for a great cause!

11.01.2022 Listen to understand not to simply hear ! In a world of science, research and phrases like best practice we spend all our time improving our ability to list...en to you and understand you Not understand your problem, trust me we will get there. We want to understand you Human behaviour is the central determining factor in improving your current situation. You can get the best practitioner in the world with all the knowledge in the world but if they can’t assist you in understanding your own behaviours and their impacts then you are merely driving in circles We know we know the science behind what we do, that’s a given. We are just more focused on who you are

11.01.2022 Hi Everyone. I'm really excited to be helping organise the following event down at Inspire Health Services Not only is this a great chance to clear our some good quality unloved clothes (and also participate in the Slow Fashion movement) we are also raising funds for the Australian Conservation Foundation. If you'd like to come down on the day/donate/ or just know more please let me know!

07.01.2022 Was excellent spending some time at The Headache and Pain Management Centre, Brisbane exploring how the Medx can be incorporated into rehabilitation and strength and conditioning programs.

07.01.2022 Always an exciting time of year, great work by everyone involved yesterday. Looking forward seeing the same by the NEAFL panel this afternoon.

06.01.2022 Whatever you do right now during the upcoming uncertainty, don’t place your health on hold Now more than ever is the time to focus on keeping yourself as heal...thy as you possibly can Eat well, exercise, sleep an appropriate amount and drink more water than you ever have I don’t know where COVID 19 ends up, I am not a medical expert and won’t even enter a conversation with an opinion pretending to have any medical advice. I’ll leave that to the World Health Organization (WHO) & Queensland Government What being an allied health professional has taught me is that healthy people are happy people. Your health is a controllable. It improves immunity, improves you physically but most critically during times of uncertainty, improves your mental perspective. The reality is you will need this more than ever in the coming months. The pursuit of good health builds confidence, it builds self esteem and it teaches you that you can push through when external stress tells you to stop and throw in the towel So keep going to the gym, keep running, keep going to yoga and keep doing the things you love, but please, be responsible and follow the governing bodies advice on how to do so safely Follow social distancing as much as practically possible If you are sick, or even on the fence, stay home Can’t leave the house That’s fine consult a professional for a home program. There is always another option We can’t afford to put any more stress on our medical healthcare system so please, please put your health at the top of your priority list If you don’t know where to start I am always here to help
