07.01.2022 Thank you to all those ‘friends’

07.01.2022 Yesterday I joined friends in a 10 klm walk (from Altone Road to City Beach..yes it really is 10 klm) in a Walk of Awareness. We wore our ‘Kate’s Mates’ t shirt in support of my friends niece, promoting awareness to skin Cancer and acknowledging the journey Kate has gone through over the past year. The walk was privately organized bringing an awareness to the feelings experienced by so many going through illness, trauma or mental health issues... Many of those going through illness or trauma, along with their family and friends are afraid to express their anxiety, keeping their feelings and fears securely hidden, putting on a ‘brave face’, afraid that expressing how they feel will weaken them and take away the strength to cope. Please know that you are not alone and there is someone ready to listen and give you the support required. Take care and be kind to yourself. Ring Endeavour Counselling for support.
