25.01.2022 Miss Stevie Kids are just so much fun to photograph! I love it. No shame no awkwardness just THEM. Wild and free and photogenic no matter what is happening. Yes, I classify crying as photogenic It’s their little character that you will love to look back on. Most kids are shy to start off with (who wouldn’t be with a stranger and a weird looking contraption in their face). Don’t worry, I always aim to get that cheeky personality that you all love and know. They always come around, trust me

25.01.2022 Sugar Pines I still can’t believe these gorgeous sugar pines were destroyed in the fires earlier this year. I’m so glad that I could tick doing a wedding there off in my bucket list. A few fun facts:... Laurel Hill is where our school went for retreat back in Year 7 (shoutout to my Mt Erin girls) My family were the last people to be in the pines. We took family photos there the afternoon before they were closed for Dad’s birthday. So glad we decided to do that and that we have those memories/ a little bit of history to cherish forever. 24.01.2022 Sunday I hope you all had a wonderful and restful weekend! I have just ordered some more gift vouchers if anyone wants to give an everlasting gift for Christmas! OR ... Do you want to give the gift of prints of your family as a present? I have a few more spaces left for the year. What a year it has been being away from family (especially if you are like myself and trapped in one state). A family session is so much fun and if 2020 has taught us anything it is how much we value our time with family and friends!

22.01.2022 Family Wedding Just after Christmas I did this beautiful session for Jodie and Nathan’s family. They have been together for years, had their two beautiful children together and then decided to get married! Instead of having a big wedding, they went down to the local town hall and sighed all the paper work. A couple of months later they put their wedding clothes back on and had me capture some family photos in Yass, NSW. Mr Ed was a highlight and wanted to participate as well

22.01.2022 The Riordans I found a new location and this was the perfect family to be photographed amongst the many different and beautiful wild flowers. I love scouting new spots and this was one that I kept driving past and had to check it out. It’s such a gorgeous time of year with longer nights, golden sunsets and flowers in full bloom. 19.01.2022 Harvey Max A newborn session with the Tonkin family yesterday afternoon. Little Harvey is 10 days old and the cutest little man. This session was taken in the comfort of Lara and Michael’s home. I come to YOU so you don’t have to worry about rushing out the door with a tiny human, remembering to pack everything on limited sleep.

She was so strong and patient throughout this crazy period, having had to change wedding dates and then planning to go ahead no matter what the restrictions were. I’m so glad it worked out, even better then imagined! Limited restrictions, a dance floor, NO masks and able to travel interstate for their honeymoon! The perfect day, if you ask me. 17.01.2022 Kids Millie living her best life amongst the wild flowers! Children are always so much fun to work with! One of my frequently asked questions is, ‘is it hard photographing kids?!’ My answer is, not really! The best thing about kids is that they make their own fun and are photogenic no matter what faces they pull. The hardest part about it is keeping up with them I love to capture their true and individual personalities which at the end of the day is what it is all about ...and the memories you will want to remember. Kids can also make adults feel at ease and relaxed! I am a teacher as well, so being and talking to kids is something I do on the daily! A lot of families are booking in family sessions as they make great Christmas gifts for family and friends. After the year we have had, I think it is time to get together and update those family photos! What a fun way to spend some time together and take away some wonderful memories

15.01.2022 That’s a wrap Phew, what a rollercoaster of a year. 2020 was meant to be my biggest year with weddings but turned out to be my smallest since starting out 10 years ago. I celebrated my 10th year in business. My year was big in other ways with falling more in love with family and newborn portraiture. I introduced and newborn photography, something I was always worried about doing until I had my little boy and fell in love with it. This is something I will pursue more of and ...become my main component in coming years. Not next year though, with the biggest (hopefully) wedding seasons I have ever done! I am so excited for next year and thank you for everyone’s support in everything I do! I absolutely love being in this industry and all the amazing vendors, friends, couples and families people I have met along the way!! Catch yaaaaaa 2020!!!

14.01.2022 Mr and Mrs Absolutely devastated. Today I should have been back home photographing the beautiful Allie and Kwasi’s wedding. I was so excited to do this wedding as I documented Allie’s sister Becky and husband Jason last year (photo pictured). I have known this family for a long time living a town away growing up and going to school together. I was also excited to photograph for the first time at @thewildvinevineyard I have been eying this stunning venue off for a while! ... A huge thankyou to Bree at @bgphotographyco who has been an absolute legend. She stepped in and was so understanding the whole month leading up to today, letting me still have the wedding (right up until last night, when I officially handed it over ) if by chance the borders had opened. I know Bree will do an amazing job and I can’t wait to see the photos. This business isn’t about competition it’s about being reaching out and being kind to one another. 14.01.2022 Back in the office today I have just had a look at my e-mails and they are quite full. I think today will be spent getting back to you all. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Our New Year was unfortunately cut short having to flee the state of NSW and rush home to VIC. I’ll stop there as the rest of the story makes me mad Surely the year can only get better from here?!

10.01.2022 Kisses for mum I had the absolute pleasure of documenting the Price family yesterday afternoon. Hannah won the website launch prize a couple of months ago and then of course lockdown 2.0 came into affect not long after. The sweetest family amongst the canola. It is so amazing to see the crop so thick and high this year. I’ve seen photos from back home and it is very similar! So good to see after years of drought and distress. A positive for 2020.

09.01.2022 Mr and Mrs Willams One of the most resilient couples I know! Their wedding was postponed in November, but they kept their heads strong and were married yesterday at the gorgeous @campdavidfarm ! With all restrictions easing and NO MASKS, it was the best time! We had rain, FOG and ended the day with an epic sunset. I can’t wait to share more of these, I’ve been going through them today and I’m so happy with the results!!

I can’t wait to go home (Riverina) and see my beautiful family! 08.01.2022 NOW The time is now! I have too many clients saying they are waiting until their ‘goal’ weight post babies (us women are so harsh on ourselves.) Other excuses include, we’re waiting until our family is complete and another one is I’m worried my kids will be feral. These precious moments are slipping away. Stop making excuses and book your sessions in before you regret it! Kids will be kids, I can work with them no matter what you throw at me. Often the best photos are them... just being them. Why stage it? If Covid has taught us anything, it is time is precious so let’s capture those special memories now that things are starting to reopen and families can be together again. One of the most valued gifts this Christmas will be to be present with our families. Why not capture these times with a voucher or photo session for them to treasure forever? 08.01.2022 Parents These days I have noticed that I photograph from a different perspective, through the eyes (lens) as a Mum. I love seeing the connection between parents and their grown up children that are about to marry the woman/man of their dreams. I love seeing the beautiful relationships. I love hearing the childhood stories and I love all the emotions surrounding a wedding day. Ryan and his mum have such a beautiful relationship and it made me think about many, many years down the track when that will be me (my little boy is only one!) It makes you really want to cherish each and every moment. Time is so precious and I have the pleasure of capturing a glimpse of these memories to last you a lifetime.

03.01.2022 Apollo Bay Nika and Dirk are so very close to meeting their little man. Nika and Dirk are the owners of @glenbosch just out of Beechworth. We were planning on doing the session at their beautiful property, but the heavy forecasts meant we have to reschedule. Sooo, I third wheeled (fourth with the unborn babe?!) to their baby moon in Apollo Bay. My first sunrise and beach session! Victorian beaches are FREEZING, but Nika and Dirk wanted to brave the ocean and get their feet wet!

02.01.2022 FOG Yes that is a foggy mist behind them! Only in the Macedon ranges would you have this kind of weather in DECEMBER! From 40degrees last weekend, to this. The weather is mental at the moment. Fog and rain always makes for the best photos! This bridal party was one of the best and had @mitchell.barkman.videography and I in stitches all day!

01.01.2022 Home It was so nice to finally head back to NSW and spend a extra long weekend with my family! Wagga greeted us back with a hot and windy 40degree heat (it may have even got to 42!) I captured the Gaynor family last night! We did a huge extended family photoshoot and couldn’t have timed the weather any better. It dropped 10 degrees in the evening, the wind stopped and the rain held off until the end! So much fun with this beautiful family! Many more photos to come
