19.01.2022 Are you surrounded by people that celebrate your wins and success?!! ~ How horrible is jealousy and envy and being judged by others especially people you thought were your ride or die ~ It got me thinking about my journey ... ~ I AM NOT lucky and things definitely have not come easy for me ~ For all my new followers who don’t know me or my story here is the short version ~ Nearly 20 years I was a passenger in a car accident. I broke my back in three places, a single mum with a 6 month old daughter. I was told it was a 50/50 chance of ever walking again and put an end to my career as a Arielists ~ I under went surgery where they put 6 bolts two plates and a rod into my spine to hold me back together ~ I beat all odds and I taught myself to walk again it was a very long and painful road physically and mentally ~ I trained hard at the gym to get myself in the best physical shape of my life, not to look good but to support my back and the metal in my spine. The process was and still is on days excruciating ~ I put my life back together, bought my own house outright, studied and received my diploma achieving an overall distinction in Wedding & Event Planning ~ Getting close to Launching this business of mine I found myself going through a nasty divorce with an addict ~ I lost nearly everything most importantly mine and my children’s home ~ I soldiered on and still launched our business as the passion and dream was still burning in my belly ~ A year into the business which truth be told was a lot harder than I thought pretty much making every big mistake you could and everything that could go wrong DID ~ Than yep Covid hit ans as you all know our industry was pretty much demolished ~ During this time my best friend and love of my life ask me to marry him and I became a Mum of five amazing (annoying at times) kids and became the most happiest blessed women in the world ~ I guess my whole point of this post was never be envious or jealous of anyone for there wins and successes because you never know the road they have travelled to get to where they are ~ #supporteachother #bekind #spreadlove #speakkindly #whatyougiveyougetback #sarahjean See more
