25.01.2022 Another graduation on the weekend. This time over in Mareeba. When it was mentioned about the location backing onto the river, I didn't really know what to expect. I was hoping for something special and it was perfection!! These two where great fun to work with. I hope they both had a fantastic night, despite all the covid restrictions. That location though

23.01.2022 Oh yeah!! Damn this felt good. Back doing what I love. First session in over 2 years . I was stressed, I was anxious, I had self doubt and I began to question why I was doing this to myself. However, once I was there and met my two lovely Grad clients and their families it all came flooding back. Auto pilot kicked in and all those creative juices started flowing . And how amazing is this kiwi fruit orchard . I was in photography heaven. ps. Behind scenes iphone pic.

21.01.2022 This session . I met Courtney and James by chance. Believe it or not they used to live in the house we have purchased on the Tablelands. Anyways one thing led to another and I was delighted to be asked to capture their Newborn photos. Courtney had showed me a few photo styles that she liked and they all fell into the lifestyle category. Something I had not done alot of for Newborns. I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone as this session was so much fun. We did however do a few 'studio' style setups which I will share soon . Was like riding a bike, you just don't forget and when you love something as much as I do it's natural.

21.01.2022 We saw a few of these lovely old boat houses travelling around Tassie. A different edit this time digital painting is one of my fave things to do when i get the urge to be ‘creative’.

20.01.2022 When trying to keep the attention of a one year old in the vicinity of the window light..... you grab whatever is nearby!! Also as luck had it her great grandmothers pearls where nearby. . How sweet, but that watering can must have tasted great. . You just got to roll with it.

19.01.2022 The sweetest moment.!! They say 'it takes a village to raise a child'. I feel this saying is so so true. And it is that village that makes a child who they are. I have a feeling this beautiful lady has played a huge role in influencing who Madilyn is today. This memory will be very treasured I'm sure, as that's what it's about... Capture the moment cherish the memory!

07.01.2022 This was my morning!! Felt like a naughty kid standing on the bed like this. Would you believe this is my first Newborn session since August 2018, which was before we set of on our travels. I think i need to do more of these in home lifestyle sessions. Everyone was super relaxed, baby was super chill and I remembered how to do it all, bonus!! Stay tuned for some super sweet newborn spam

07.01.2022 We welcomed a new family member some months back. Her name is Maisy aka: Moo Moo, Ratbag, Stinky, Ragabaga..... She has from the day we got her been receiving many kisses and still remains to be given many kisses daily as in photo . I've been super quiet on the page for a little while as we adapt to life after travelling. I've also been enjoying having a break from the expectation of having to post photo's all the time. However I'm refreshed so I promise to be more active as I know you all love seeing them. I will also be taking on a small number of shoots from time to time based on the Atherton Tablelands. However as I've mentioned in messages for all of those asking... yes, I will from time to time open up sessions in Townsville when I visit. So keep an eye out for those sessions when I list them on the page.

06.01.2022 I’ve finished travelling!!! I missed the arrival of Aurora whilst travelling so to celebrate our long awaited meeting and her turning one we did a little in home session. Was great being inside in the aircon as this North Queensland heat is not so nice after living in cooler climates for so long. Anyone interested in a little session like this whilst the weather is not so nice? Please send me a PM. Please note: I’m not based in Townsville however I will be travelling back from time to time to visit family. I will be catching up with my regular clients who have been hanging for me to get back into it .

03.01.2022 What happens when you get an extended family together for a session? Organised Chaos!!! Look how much fun we had during this session. 14 people and one dog, created many laughs and way to many bribes to remember. I love catching up with my Townsville clients, it's so great to see the little people that I capture as newborns grow into 'big little' people .
