20.01.2022 Flashback Friday to 2008 when my piece Red Silhouette appeared in the film ‘Hancock’, starring Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman! Had no idea it was going to pop up in this film aside from a very vague email two years previous from Columbia Pictures asking permission to use it in a feature film... I agreed and then forgot all about it... 4 children under 9 at the time!!! A friend called after seeing Hancock in the cinema and said I just saw your painting in Hanco...ck!!!. Pretty happy it was this film as it’s a firm family favourite (aside from the obvious bias!) Red Silhouette, Original SOLD Limited edition print available via sarahleslieart.com. Happy Friyay! @ Columbia Pictures

19.01.2022 Early stages of a newbie... detail of the digital design in the first pic. Did you know that I was trained as a graphic designer and create all my work digitally before I put paint to canvas? The original concept always alters slightly as the organic nature of the paint is allowed to interpret form, and as options materialise along the way- surrendering to that is the beautiful part of the process. @ St Kilda, Victoria
