19.01.2022 With temperatures expected to reach 41 degrees today please be mindful of all your pets! Please make sure to put plenty of water out, please put water out for our amazing wildlife too, birds will be very thirsty today. 1. Don’t walk dogs until temperatures reduce, even then make sure to place the back of your hand on the pavement for at least 30 seconds. If it is too hot for you to touch it’s to hot for paws to touch. 2. DO NOT leave your pets in the car, even if you’r...e just ducking into the shops for 5 minutes. The heat can lead to stress, this could potentially be a deadly mix. 3. If you have small pets (birds/rabbits/guinea pigs etc) please bring them inside, their little bodies can only stand so much heat, heatstroke can affect them very quickly. Taking these steps will be appreciated by our fur/feather friends.

15.01.2022 Please stay safe and hydrated today, the temperature is rising fast. The Penrith paceway is a open as an animal evacuation site for anyone needing to move their fur babies. Remember that roads and concrete get very hot and can burn dogs feet, try to avoid walking on these surfaces with your furry friends.

14.01.2022 What an incredible woman! Having 40 dogs would be a huge task, but you can see they absolutely love her and she absolutely loves them! A beautiful story and I cannot wait to see what other tricks these pups have up their sleeves!

02.01.2022 Today is going to be extremely hot, its only 9:30am and already quiet warm. Please remember not to walk you dogs until the weather cools down a lot, also remember if you cant hold the back of your hand on the concrete for more than 5 seconds then it is to hot to walk your dog on. Always provide fresh drinking water. Ice cubes and ice blocks are completely fine to give to dogs.
