19.01.2022 Meet Mr. Buttons, I found him with his mother and siblings as a feral scared little kitten. What was supposed to be a foster resulted in two new family members being him and his mother. To think that in the beginning this little boy was trying to climb up the curtains just to get away, and now, slowly, he has learned to trust. A tip for feral, stray or scared cats is to keep them in a confined area to start so they feel safe. Get them used to your presence by simply sitting in the room with them whilst your reading a book or on your phone so they can observe you and see you arent a threat. Feed them with a spoon and play with a cat wand to bond. Dont force anything, slow and steady wins race

16.01.2022 Hey guys! Im having trouble choosing between these two designs for my business cards. Then I thought, my clients opinion is what matters most to me so what better way to choose than to ask you yourself. Which one is your favourite? Card 1 (blue) or card 2 (purple) - sorry for the bad quality, it was the best I could get in my phone Much love to you all!

14.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who helped me choose! The vote is in and purple it is

14.01.2022 Cat essentials: Cat wand - it is a cats instinct to hunt and this is a perfect toy to help them release all that built up hunting energy Cardboard scratcher and cat scratchers - Hopefully we can all agree that de-clawing is simply not an option as it causes both acute and chronic pain for the rest of their lives. Cats need their nails to jump, climb, stretch, scent and play. They also need cat scratchers to shed their nails, plus it feels great for them to dig their cl...aws into different materials, so lets not make it your couch! Cat Tower - ALL cats need at least one cat tower in main areas. They are vertical animals which means they love to be up high. You should have it next to a window that gets the sun and in a room that people hang out in. Placing it in a room that no one uses is telling youre cat that they dont fit into the household territory. Territory is the most important thing to a cat and one of the most common causes of behavioural problems. Food maze- Wild Cats must hunt for their food and a food maze is a great way to get your domestic kitties to work for their food/treats. The meal will be more satisfying, mentally stimulating and great for overweight cats on a diet to make them feel like theyre eating more. Of course if your cat is under-eating then this isnt the toy for them. Litter tray- This is an obvious need but a lot of people arent aware of how important it is to choose the right tray and litter to suit your cat. The tray should be big enough for your cat to use but not too high for your cat to get in. Ideally the tray should be placed on the floor and in a quiet spot where they can reach all sides for easy access. Different cats have different preferences of litter type so you may have to try a few first. Absorbent clumping litter is the most hygienic and easiest to clean. The rule of thumb is x1 tray per cat + one extra. Another important tip - dont place their food and water station near their toilet. No one likes to eat or drink on the dunny See more

04.01.2022 Hello my fellow animal lovers Lets talk about crate training for cats. Thats right, I said cats. Most of us have heard about crate training for dogs, but what about for our feline friends? Well, heres a demo on how to crate train your cat.... The star of the show is Mr. Buttons He started out as a completely feral kitten, no human contact what so ever. In the year I have had him, he has made leaps and bounds in his confidence and trust in me. He LOVES his brushes and pats, but is still a long way off from being handled. So my worry is, as Im sure everyone with a timid cat has, is what happens if there is a situation where he MUST go to the vet? Do i want to break all the trust building I have made with him over the past year by forcing him into a crate? Heck no! So I have placed a crate, that will be permanently there for him to use voluntarily. Im introducing it with treats. The door is tied open and will stay that way unless he must go to the vet. I have built up to this moment by tunnel training him, throwing treats in cat tunnels for him to retrieve. I have added the command in which he has responded remarkably to. Now I have created this fun game for him, I am adding in the crate. This video is his first time ever being introduced to the crate. I wanted to film the first time so you can watch process from the very beginning. If your cat isnt interested in playing any in games, then you can just leave some treats inside and let your cat inspect the crate in their own time. Make the crate comfortable, put a nice soft blanket inside so it mimics an igloo bed. Crate training is handy for any cat owner as it allows a more stress free experience when its time to take them to the vet. After each vet visit, the crate goes back in the same spot to become a bed again, with high value treats placed inside. See more

03.01.2022 Meet Molly and Lottie, two stunning Hungarian Viszlas that I have had the pleasure of knowing since puppies! These girls and their family fill my heart with joy. Molly is full of energy and loves her ball, so a good game of fetch before we go out is the key to a calm walk or ride in the car. Dogs cant control their adrenaline, the only way is to bur off all that energy! Lottie has outstanding recall. The secret to good recall? Always make sure something fun and positive is awaiting them right from the beginning. Dogs arent going to come back if they think they are in trouble.

03.01.2022 Meet Koko, always a pleasure to be with and such a quick learner. Who could resist those chocolate puppy dog eyes

03.01.2022 I have lived with and loved these four beautiful furkids for 10 days and have had the best time! They are all so beautiful and unique. I have thoroughly enjoyed caring for them all
