30.04.2022 School is back next week. Enjoying the last of the warmth and the days together while we can. The beach is my happy place. And theirs too apparently. How are you feeling about things getting back to ‘normal’?

21.04.2022 Today is the day! After 8 weeks of not even leaving the suburb, the kids are finally venturing back out into the world. Back to school, just for one day a week at this stage. But school won’t look the same as when they left. They won’t be in their class, they may not have their teacher, they may not be in the same classroom. There’s no assemblies, no sport, no extra stuff. So there’s a few butterflies in all our tummies today. I got up before the kids and out adaptive in the diffuser. It’s amazing at helping support us through times of change. And I’ll roll steady on the kids’ feet, and brave on their tummies. Then ill come home and binge watch my fave show on Netflix in peace PS these oils are all coming to Australia next month!

05.04.2022 I’m rugged up under a blanket, enjoying doTERRA’s first WebVention! And one of the highlights of any convention is new product announcements. I’m SO SO excited this kit is coming to Australia! The kids kit has 6 blends specifically chosen for little and big kids (and adults as well!). The oils selected for each blend are gentle to use topically for kids, and pleasant smelling so they’ll love them. Let me know if you want more info, this kit will be available to purchase next month.

25.03.2022 Term 2 starts in NSW today. This marks the start of the 4th week of schooling from home. After a couple of weeks off, I must say we’re all VERY happy to have some routine back. And with the announcement that NSW school kids will be schooled from home if they can, for at least a few days a week, for all of term 2, it’s time to put some good routine measures in place! So we’re dressed, beds made, teeth cleaned, and diffusers on! This morning I’ve picked a blend that helps with focus, energy and uplifts the spirits (anyone else’s kids go from happy to fighting a million times a day ). Good luck everyone!!!!

25.01.2022 This just say thanks.

24.01.2022 The finished product!! Im in denial that Im about to have an 8 year old in the house. Its party day today. His birthday is next week. Im a fairly average baker, but birthday cakes are one thing Ive never outsourced. The kids have always had nothing but praise for my cakes. No matter what (even the disaster that was Elises 4th cake - kind of looked like someone had on a chocolate cake ). Its been tough, trying to come up with additive free cakes for Hamish. Thankfully sweets are not his thing, so he doesnt complain about have to take the decorations off. New hot wheels are far more exciting than liquorice bullets anyway

23.01.2022 School is back next week. Enjoying the last of the warmth and the days together while we can. The beach is my happy place. And theirs too apparently. How are you feeling about things getting back to normal?

22.01.2022 Its back to school time in just a few weeks. Heres some great food for thought on what goes in your childs lunchbox. Steering clear of processed foods full of additives will help your kids manage the busyness of school life!

22.01.2022 Thank goodness I discovered Doterra we have of course been sick since then. But its never months on end of constant sickness, like what we experienced in 2016. When we get sick, we bounce back a lot quicker. So grateful for Doterra and the change it has made for my family!

22.01.2022 I have never experienced a smoke haze like were experiencing in Sydney today. The fire is around 30km away. But it is truly enormous and causing shocking conditions. I feel for those closer to the fire front. Today Im alternating between easy air and frankincense on my chest to help with breathing support. Im hanging for my free frankincense this month so I can top up my Frankincense touch! Stay indoors and take it easy today xx

22.01.2022 This is what it looks like when to power comes back in after 2 days. And theres more impending storms! Get ALLLLLL the washing dry. Particularly the towels in case of leaks. Oh and the diffuser is ON!! With some tangerine and peppermint. Whats in your diffuser today?

21.01.2022 Just dropped this little miss off for her last day of preschool. Shes my youngest, and off the school next year. Im feeling a bit flat about it all, not quite ready to have both my kids out of the house everyday. But she is SO excited so Im trying really hard not to let my feelings influence her or dull her excitement. So Cheer and Peppermint will be applied liberally today! And I think some console after I pick her up

20.01.2022 Oh my look at my little baby! Not so little anymore. Still just as cute (although far more sass ). Ive been using oils for coming up to 4 years now. Still one of the best decisions Ive made for my family.

19.01.2022 Every day is different at the moment. And yet every day is the same. Yesterday, I just couldn’t be bothered. All I wanted to do was watch crappy tv. Impossible when I’m fighting both kids for the TV at the moment I gave myself a day to feel like that. I clearly needed it. But today I feel more energised. So I’ve popped motivate in the diffuser to help make the most of that energy, and knock a few things off my to do list. How are you finding your mood shifts during this time at home? How are you managing your moods? PS pink sparkly nails are courtesy of my 5 year old

18.01.2022 Love this do you have any other suggestions to give as gifts? Hamish is writing all his own cards this year, and drawing pictures in each one. A personal touch that means more than a candy cane!

17.01.2022 Cant quite believe Im here again...its birthday cake baking time! Any guesses what the theme might be? Hint: theres another on in the oven the same as this!

17.01.2022 Parenting fail! When you dont realise you child accidentally swapped one of his shoes with a friend, and has been wearing 2 different sizes for TWO months can anyone top that?!Parenting fail! When you dont realise you child accidentally swapped one of his shoes with a friend, and has been wearing 2 different sizes for TWO months can anyone top that?!

16.01.2022 It’s been a really weird few months, and slow start to the year. From November, we were on high alert because of the bushfires. The smoky haze for months, a daily reminder to be alert. Finally, it cleared a little around Sydney and the risk for us subsided. Only to be followed by CRAZY weather. Storms that had us in blackouts and without internet and connection to the ‘outside’ world. Then personally, I’ve had a massive shift in my life, with my youngest child off to school. ...School holidays saw the kids’ getting more bored than I’ve ever experienced and they drained me. I loved having them home, but I was ready for the school year to start. I’m still not sure what my ‘normal’ routine is yet, with both at school. Or how I feel about it. But I’ll get there. Because of all this, my business goals have taken a side step. Everything else just seemed to be taking a priority. But not anymore. It’s time to kick my own but into gear. So why this picture??? This is a houseplant i bought in October. By Christmas, it wasn’t looking so good. When I came home from holidays in January, I decided it was done for. I tried cutting it back but nothing happened. I moved it outside to get it out of the house. Just now, I went to put it in the bin. Only to discover NEW SHOOTS!!!! It’s not a goner. There’s still life there. It just struck a chord with me. It’s time to get back to what I love doing. There’s so much life left in my passion for sharing essential oils and natural solutions. This year has only just begun.

14.01.2022 Hoping youll indulge me while I share something from my personal page. Ive got a target to raise $500. If you feel so inclined, Id love every tiny bit of support I can get

14.01.2022 Bit of a false start to the school year. Hamish went one day, then has been home with a sore throat the rest of the week. Not exactly what I wanted or needed. I was very much looking forward to some one-on-one time with little miss before she heads off to kindergarten next week. But alas, no such luck. Its back to board games and pj days. We ALL needed some space. Hopefully we can get a fresh start next week. For now, its rest and uplifting diffuser blends to help us stay off each others nerves! I find basil particularly good for brain fog and mental fatigue. And alllll the citrus for lifting the spirits and bringing some fun back to our day.

14.01.2022 I LOVE this! Just because you can eat it, doesnt mean you should. I too have one child who cant tolerate colours, and another that doesnt seem to be affected. But just because shes not showing obvious signs of an intolerance doesnt mean her body likes it. There are absolutely positively treat options that dont include artificial colours - I know, because my kids still get treats. Turn your packets over and read the back - you might be surprised.

13.01.2022 So yesterday Hamish woke with a mild fever, and complaining of sore achey legs. Craaaaaap. We dont have time for a virus. He has his birthday party this weekend! So I rubbed Stronger protective blend on his feet and spine every few hours, and massaged Rescuer Soothing Blend into his legs. Just for fun on his day off, I started a new height chart, seeing as weve just freshly painted the house. This morning he woke COMPLETELY fine. No sign of a fever. Full energy levels back. He wanted to check if hed grown and i said he wont have grown overnight, but lets check. Yeah. He grew E I G H T mm since yesterday afternoon apparently yesterday was just a growth spurt. CRAZY!! Whats the biggest overnight growth spurt your kids have had?

12.01.2022 Its not even 10:30am and weve already had alllllllll the feels today. Its nearing the end of the school holidays. The kids are spending WAY more time together than they usually do. Were starting to get on each others nerves. Today I planned to take the kids to the beach. Something they LOVE, but for some reason today was just not our day. The whinging, whining and complaining reached next level. It ended in me cracking it and unpacking our bags and taking some time out ...while they played quietly. They sensed it was not the time to ask me a million questions. During the forced quiet time, my 5 year old daughter drew me a picture. Elise her way of writing I love you Mum, Im sorry mum. It was the break we needed. So weve hit reset. The day is starting again. Theyve both agreed we all needed to hug and start fresh. Weve all had some big, deep breaths of Cheer to help lift our spirits and bring some fun back. And weve compromised on a trip to the local pool instead. One week to go, and then well all be longing for holidays again

11.01.2022 Good morning Sydney. Smokey, HOT day here. Some areas of Sydney predicted to get up to 47 Be sensible and safe today, check on those who might be alone and vulnerable. And if youre looking for a cooling oil, peppermint is amazing - just rub a little, diluted with a carrier oil, behind your knees, back of your neck and bottoms of your feet. Stay safe xx

11.01.2022 Some great tips on ways to reduce how much goes to landfill this Christmas.

10.01.2022 More smoke for Sydney today. Spent most of the day inside. And a fire in Victoria putting some friends and family at risk. All ok now thankfully. The one good thing to come from bushfire season is the amazing sunsets oils for breathing support will be going in the diffuser tonight!

09.01.2022 What a difference a week can make. This time last week I sat at this table totally unsure and unprepared for what was to come. Last Sunday we decided to follow the government’s advice and keep the kids home for school. Without any real idea of when they’ll go back. We also found out that gyms would close. Our source of income as my husband is a personal trainer. Monday I had to determine the financial fate of a staff member I manage, as part of a volunteer role I’ve taken on.... Tuesday I had to learn how to be a teacher. And the remainder of the week has been spent learning how we will cope, all under the same roof for an extended period of time. And you know what? A week later, I feel so much calmer. We’re managing just fine. Yes, the kids have moments of complete and utter sadness as they remember things they’ve lost. They get bored. But they’re also getting more creative. And they’re also getting on better than ever, and are becoming even better friends. I’m actually getting time to clean the house, the way I always want to but can never find the time to. I’m cooking delicious dinners, and not just pulling a meal together between frustrated moments with the kids and wishing for bed time to hurry up. What is happening around the world is...surreal. And devastating. And the true effects of what is happening won’t be known for a long time. But when you sit back and look for the good in the bad (because you can’t have one without the other), it’s so much easier to find the ‘calm’. Who knows where we’ll be next Sunday, but if I can manage to feel calm after the week we’ve just had, I know we’ll be ok. Hope you’re doing ok too xx

09.01.2022 These two blends are getting me through today. Everything is cancelled. We’ve got one last thing on our weekly calendar, but I’m not sure if that will stay either. It can feel so hard, the not knowing what is happening. And keeping my spirits up for the kids is mentally draining. Aromatouch is helping me with the mental fatigue, and Elevation is an amazing pick me up. How are you going today?

09.01.2022 This is me after getting back to the gym yesterday! The gym is the one thing i really missed during isolation (friends and family not included!). I can do without cafes and restaurants. I can do without entertainment venues. I loved having the bush and outdoors to spend time with my family in. But i truly missed the gym. Getting back there is just another step towards normality returning. And it feels good. What did you miss most during isolation?

06.01.2022 Things are being cancelled left right and centre. But that does NOT mean you have to stay inside! You can still safely get out of the house, if you practice good hygiene measures. Get out into the fresh air, go for a walk, take the kids to the park to kick a ball around, staying cooped up and dwelling will make things feel worse. I found this article to be an interesting read! https://medium.com//coronavirus-and-the-sun-a-lesson-from-

04.01.2022 Well here’s the makings of an awesome Saturday in isolation. important to set yourself achievable goals right? the sun is out. It’s a perfect day for washing sheets. A task I embarrassingly don’t do nearly often enough. But now it feels quite satisfying knowing this is my task for the day. I make my own washing powder which I’m very grateful for right now, it’s one less supermarket item I have to fight for at the moment. And I add purify essential oil blend to help remove bad smells and add a beautiful, fresh, clean natural fragrance. What are your Saturday plans in isolation?
