22.01.2022 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the postal services have been hugely impacted both internationally and domestically. Also, there is a global shortage of raw materials and things just don’t seem to be getting any better with the supply chain. Ambience by Sarah is a small business with just the two of us (as our helpers have all returned to work) and we are working as fast as we can to turn around the orders, in a very stressful environment, wearing masks and socially distancing i...n line with our government's advice. We are not able to have other people come and help us with the backlog, especially with the current lock down in Victoria. We also do not have someone dedicated to answer every question that you have at the moment, so this means when your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation e-mail. We cannot answer multiple questions regarding where orders currently sit, as we are busy hand making your orders and packing them. The current turnaround time for orders is unpredictable due to the supply issues we have. We do not need pressure from customers asking about their orders, if items are in stock and when items will be back in stock because the answer is we simply DO NOT KNOW. We get dozens of these messages everyday. Not only do we not have the answers, but replying to them take time away from actually making our products, processing orders and trying to source what we need from alternative suppliers. We know that many of you are eager to receive your orders and are running out of some of our products, but ask that you please be kind and patient - We are people doing the very best we can to serve you in these very difficult times. 22.01.2022 When the website re-opens at 5pm, please bear in mind that once a product has sold out, it will not be available again until we have made more. PLEASE DON"T ASK when products will be back in stock - the answer is we don't know. It is impossible for us to predict when products will be made and added to the website.
22.01.2022 I sent out emails last night for orders that will be getting delivered over the next few days. Not all orders will go out tomorrow. It may take until early next week for some orders to be delivered. If you get an email, we ask that you please be patient for your order to arrive. IT WILL COME.

18.01.2022 I will be updating orders that are ready for delivery tonight. In case some of you missed my last post regarding the email you will receive our website provider has made some changes. So now when I update your order, instead of saying it is "To be delivered", it will say that your order has been delivered. Don't go running to your door tonight, the deliveries wont start until tomorrow. Also, don't panic that it says it's been delivered and its not there yet - the provider has just taken away the option I had before. It really means that it is on it way. I apologise for the confusion. I have looked at our website to see if there is a way of fixing this, but at this stage have not been able to find any solutions to this problem - Sorry.

18.01.2022 I will be sending out emails tonight regarding orders that are ready for delivery. This does not automatically mean that your order will be delivered tomorrow. I (Shelley) will be doing this run of deliveries, which means I have to take time away from making products and trying to do all the administration/accounts and multiple other tasks I do to run our little business. I will do my best to get as many as I can out tomorrow, but if you do not receive your order tomorrow, please be patient - IT WILL COME over the next few days
17.01.2022 I know many of you have been wondering what the new restrictions mean for Ambience by Sarah and your orders. The answer is, at this stage, we simply don't know. There were a lot of restrictions announced today, but they did not cover restrictions to businesses - that's coming tomorrow apparently. Sarah and I have talked about what might occur. Our website will remain open, although some things may end up having to be put out of stock because we are uncertain about our ability... to receive materials from some of our suppliers. You can still place orders. Sarah and I will continue to work from our homes as we have been, as much as we possibly can under the restrictions. However, depending on the restrictions placed upon our business, we may not be able to send out ANY orders, postal or delivery, under the restrictions are lifted. We will try to keep you up to date as information comes to us and we make decisions on how we will run during Stage 4. See more

14.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT Shelley will be working on closing the website as of tomorrow so we can catch up, and get back to our usual turn around times for you guys. IF you are wanting anything, I’d suggest ordering today, if this is the case PLEASE be prepared to wait. ... We’ve gone from 20 online orders in a year to over 600 in one month, we didn’t expect Covid to cause these delays on our business, we are truly sorry for any inconvenience!
14.01.2022 Just to give everyone an idea of the challenge we face as a business when it comes to our supply issues. Two of our major suppliers have sold out of soy wax and have sold out of virtually all fragrances. Today I managed to purchase wax from some obscure company that i've never even heard of...thank goodness. But if I had not found it, in the next few days, I would run out of wax and would not be able to make melts or candles for who knows how long. This might still happen at ...some stage, but for now, I think we are ok. This is something that will continue to be an issue with all ingredients and packaging, and subsequently our products, while covid dictates boarders and countries. So please understand that some products may become unavailable and we might not be able to fill some orders. We will try to keep our website up to date as things run out or become available again, but please understand that we are not able to predict when or if this will happen See more

10.01.2022 To keep things fair for everyone, I have decided to temporarily pause our website while I work on it today. Im hoping that I will have completed the maintenance and updating by 5pm which is when I plan to open it back up. If Im running late to open at 5pm, I will do a post to let you know.
