15.01.2022 I’m actually quite scared about getting back to reality I am so pumped to get our year started. I can’t wait to get stuck into building a strong foundation for the new decade, our new chapter. I have written down everything I want to achieve and I play it all out in my head on how I want to achieve it all...BUT...I’m also super scared that it’s all going to blow up around me once we get home and I slip straight into my safe zones. I’m trying to be proactive about this and... recognise that I do in fact play it safe and fall into old habits easily so I’m taking on the knowledge I have learnt from @organisingthe4ofus and #project14 and reminding myself that I don’t have to do it all and achieve it all straight away. This will be a marathon and not a sprint. I want to create a full lifestyle change for myself and my home and I know this won’t happen over night. It will take little steps day by day to achieve structure and consistency. I’m giving myself grace and support by breaking down and tearing apart all of my intentions and placing the building blocks to achieve these into my months through out the year. 09.01.2022 My little entrepreneur He started collecting our cans and bottles at the start of our trip. We collect and cash them in at home so it was just natural for him to keep doing it at camping. He soon realised that everyone around us had bottles and cans and he immediately saw the money making opportunity. We were camped near the bins and he asked every single person who walked to those bins for their cans and bottles. By the end of our second week our fellow campers where actu...ally dropping off boxes and bags of their empties for our little boy! On our way to cash them in I asked him what he was going to buy with his money! He did the work and hustled every day for those bottles so he would earn every cent. I casually threw in the conversation that he could donate them to the firemen. His eyes lit up! Oh my gosh really Mummy? YES YES YES! My heart burst into a thousand pieces and I instantly cried! My beautiful sweet boy! We had talked about the fires and had shown him some age appropriate photos to him so he knew what is happening to our beautiful country! He is 5 and instantly without a thought chose the fireman over a toy or treat for himself! He made $30 yesterday through his and the campers of Shaw’s Bay Caravan Park’s bottles which is such an amazing amount. He was so devastated though because he wanted a thousand dollars so he could buy enough water to out our every fire for the fireman How precious and heartbreaking all in one! We can’t buy enough water to put out every single fire but his father and I matched his earnings and doubled it and will donate the entire amount to the @nswrfs through @celestebarber It’s not much but every little but helps! If you can drop $$ at Kmart, McDonalds or you local coffee store than you can donate to help our beautiful Australia! Please Give!
