12.01.2022 Mine’s currently shit (especially during school holidays!)....But I’m working on it. I’m NOT an early riser and LOVE my sleep.... But the old saying the early bird gets the worm rings true for the mornings that I have hauled my ass out of bed, because those days have been without doubt my most productive ones (especially when there’s lots of caffeine involved!) (Also, the best thing I’ve done so far is switched off the ridiculous shit they show on breakfast TV. Unless you have a burning desire to start your day worrying about whats happening to everybody body else!) But it’s easy to slip back into old habits and I started finding myself switching the TV on so I wasn’t sitting in silence, but before you know it I’m listening to why the Royals are having a family feud and other random shit I don’t need to know about and it’s 8:30am and I haven’t made lunches....not a great start to the day! My perfect morning (& what I’m working towards!) would exist of getting up early 5-5:30 a little yoga or a quick walk (along a beach would be nice, but hey it’s cool to dream!) coffee and breakfast an hour of catching up on emails, bookwork etc. Mum/school duties Farm duties (when I’m on the farm) Then working on my online business Or just employ an au pair who can do all the shit jobs so I can focus on the good ones (also working on this ). 09.01.2022 I have been a little quiet lately.... The Christmas/New Year period does that to me (and the drive back to SA). We have spent the last 8 days in isolation & only been allowed out to have our mandatory Covid tests, but I’ve enjoyed spending precious time with my fam bam before school starts back and with my puppies (who you’ll see more of) because they have joined us in SA. ... I have enjoyed spending time self assessing what areas of my life I want to improve in 2021 and what parts of my life are no longer serving me & that I need to let go of. This year is the year I am going to become the person that I should have always been, my true authentic self. I have been holding myself back scared of failure, scared of what people think & making every excuse under the sun as to why I am not who I want to be. I’m steeling up my game as a mother, as a wife, as a business owner, as a leader, as a friend, as a sister, a daughter and a human! I feel alive, I feel unstoppable, I feel amazing!
