07.01.2022 Welcome to 2018 The year has begun with its usual bang! From Oprah's Golden Globes moment to the usually unusual weather in Australia we are certainly off and running. After coming back from my break I was granted two experiences that I just had to share with you. Usually, I would entertain the team with them, with them still being on leave I just had to share. ... The first being that hot cross buns had made their debut and the second being that the hot topic of negative gearing had resurfaced after Scott Morrison's December mid-budget update in December. I think many of us were so focused on getting the Christmas we blocked it out. Well in slow news week's .... which in these times isn't a bad thing the debate rages on. For those of you who already have picked up your buns and are steaming into 2018, your biggest decisions are as follows. Toasted and buttered or au naturel .. along with digging deeper into the long and well-worn debate over the pros and cons of CGT and Negative Gearing ... in case you opted for the buttered option the article is in the documents tab or PM me for a copy. 05.01.2022 Think about a time when you took all 8 steps & went from I won’t do it to Yes, I did it! What would your Yes, I did it self say to your I won’t do it self? We are facing uncertainty, we are forced in to making changes & so much is out our control right now. Sometimes we don't know where we are at till we are out the other side.... What’s important, is to remember that at the beginning of any journey, change or goal we don’t start on the top step - everything has it’s process.

02.01.2022 Each day presents a new set of challenges. No matter if it’s work, family, financial or any other area I need help in - I find breaking down the day into hourly chunks really helps. If you are feeling overwhelmed take a moment then look at 1-3 things or decisions you need to make and just do those. Breaking down the day into the next hour really helps keep us all in the moment. With so much uncertainty in our lives at present, getting back to basics is a way to help with this. #staysafe
