21.01.2022 Morning Lovely People. Well this is my last week of work until Christmas & my little vacay. Unfortunately i can not book any more this week sorry for any inconvenience. Its also the kids last week of school and i also have them to juggle. A reminder I am away from the 23rd Dec to the 27th Dec, i will not be responding to messages at this time. I will be back from the 27th Dec however the salon will be closed until the 12th of Jan. Reminder to current and future clients it will be school holidays until Feb so my kids will be home during this time, so please excuse the noise . 09.01.2022 Lets Talk Colour Retouch... Coloured hair takes a lot of upkeep, and whatever your preference might be, the reality is this: the outcome you are trying to achieve that is most different to your natural colour, the higher the maintenance is, and generally speaking, this is how frequently you need to update your 'do, according to what you've had done. Foils, you should go back to the salon every 6-8 weeks to keep your colour tidy and easy to maintain. The longer you wait to ...get your foils redone, the harder (ie: more expensive and longer time in the salon) it will be to get the seamless (rather than stripey) result you want to maintain (especially for very blonde results). Permanent Colour, These are usually used to cover grey hair, to go 2-3 shades lighter than the natural colour or to create more intense shades. This service needs more frequent salon visits, depending on the regrowth rate and presence of grey hair, approximately between 3-6 weeks. Semi-permanents are designed to fade, so the maintenance is relatively easy as there is no regrowth as such (unless it is combined with foils). A visit to the salon every eight weeks is enough in most cases, providing no naughty grey hairs are coming through. Semi-permanents are great to provide the shine and shades natural hair can be missing. If the shades are more intense (such as reds and coppers, which fade faster than other colours), you’ll need to visit the salon more frequently (4-6 weeks) to maintain the hair’s vibrancy.
