15.01.2022 Yesterday I caught up with a few neighbours/friends for a drink and a how the hell are you going? All we talked about were the fires I had a coffee with some girlfriends this morning... All we talked about was the fires and their impact. People we know and love... who are fighting fires, or lost homes, farms and stock, or both! 07.01.2022 A couple of things... Greg Storer and I did a run of drought/fire relief shows last weekend. Thanks to those who came along... The country was either thirsty, dead or burnt and people were somber and exhausted. Yet... YOU came out to hear some songs and take your mind off the job for one night. I have to admit ... I was very emotional on the last show in Inverell. We finished with Raindance... and the kids flew up and joined me on stage. I couldn’t sing I looked at Greg ...... don’t cry just keep it together. I just wanted it to PELT down! Greg said it hit him at Leeville Public School when the kids did Bust the Dust. The kids, the dance the song... everyone trying to make it rain. They were a treasure... AND THANK YOU for all who participated in Bust the Dust around Australia. Our weekend was worth it!!! THANKYOU Grafton, Tenterfield and Inverell. Thanks... 07.01.2022 We are all going through some tough times right now however our great mate Marlon Holden has been dealt a double blow with recent news that he has Metastatic Melanoma. Marlon's friends and family have put a 'go fund me' campaign together to help ease his financial burden.
