14.01.2022 Dear customers, didn’t know our Borneo chicken rice actually attracts reviews and feedback somewhere on the Facebook. Appreciate all the reviews and feedback(positive and negative) so we can improve and do better. Thank you guys for that. So basically a lot of customers asked why is our rice yellow? Its the colour of the butter and turmeric. Back in the days at our hometown, most chicken rice are served yellow in colour, it’s definitely not a surprising thing for us. Somet...ime we called it oily rice. But for us, we try to cut down on the oiliness just to make it more acceptable by everyone. Our rice is cooked with our homemade special chicken rice paste which takes 3 hours to cook, similar cooking style like sambal and then cook along with chicken broth. There’s a lot version of chicken rice out there, our version is definitely one of those traditional old school taste, brings up the memory of the childhood ( sarawakian ). We are happy for all the suggestion and feedback, let us know and we will always try to improve and serves you better. If we’ve disappointed you for our food or service, we sincerely apologize for your unpleasant experience and we will definitely look into it and improves. Thank you!
