The Rivershack is a one room apartment for up to 4 people, located in beautiful garden surroundings on the Murray River in Paringa, just a quick 1.5hr drive from Mildura, and 4kms from Renmark. Some features include - lots of wildlife - beautiful garden area - BBQ facilities - pet friendly - 2 mini ponies and 2 sheep and lots more. T&C's off peak only. 23.01.2022 Our little elves have been very busy! We expect the stockings to be completed by the end of the week. We will contact those who have ordered directly to let you know the pickup address/when they have been posted. We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank-you to Kate for her sewing skills, to Mary for her cutting skills and to Hannah and Dianne for their donations towards the materials. ... SARGs FANTASTIC FOSTER MONTH ...APRIL 2020 This year Sunraysia Animal Rehousing Group will be focusing their fundraising efforts on recruiting new foster carers to join their ranks. Without our foster carers we are unable to help as many dogs as we would like and over the past few years we have had to limit the number of dogs we’ve taken into care. PETstock will join us as a valued SARG supporter in holding our FANTASTIC FOSTER MONTH....we ...want you....become a foster carer and help us save lives....April will be a month of fun activities, information, giveaways and raffles. More about that later as we share our plans with you over the next month. The PETstock SARG Paws Along the Murray will be pawsed this year to allow us to focus on our volunteer drive, but we know how much our community love this event so it will be back in 2021 bigger and better than ever! 21.01.2022 Happy Long weekend Sunraysia! SARG are now in possession of some very limited Dexil Friendly Dog Collars. The Dexil Limited Friendly Dog Collection is a brightly-coloured collar or lead embroidered in big bold letters. It is designed to convey the message from a distance and let the world know right away what you want them to know about your furry friend. Dexil offers many different colour/message combinations to announce that your dog is blind, deaf, in training, nervous, a...doptable, friendly, not ok with other dogs, should not be fed, or in need of space. Catherine Tait artist of Castlemaine has recently exhibited in New York. We are so very humbled that Catherine has donated these beautiful pieces to SARG to raise much needed funds, recently we have had a run of unexpected high vet costs within the rehoming program. The sale of these etchings will bring in some much needed funds. They will be online for 10 days only - once the reserve is met and the highest price reached at the end of 10 days the etchings will be sold. Postage can be arranged if required. 19.01.2022 Massive shout out to SARG and Kitty's Krib friend and long time supporter Kerry E Whitelegg. Kerry has donated $500.00 each to SARG and to Kitty's Krib from the sales of her beautiful 2020 calendars. Kerry started the "Because I love Dogs" Calendar after loosing her own faithful much loved companion Buster. Also a cat lover she decided to create the "Kitty Kat" calendar as well. ... All year long Kerry is on the "lookout" for the perfect venue for a shoot. I think she excelled this year with her "Canola Dogs" with the help of Pam and Roxanne's farms. If you need some more convincing, 100% of the money raised will go to directly to SARG . There are two ‘classes’ of baubles - $10 for the standard baubles and $5 for the not-quite-right (NQR) baubles (these are ones that have little dents in them due to manufacturing or postage damage, or the glitter is a smidge patch...y for my liking). The photos attached are samples with the NQR baubles. Simply choose from any of the fonts pictured, a vinyl colours for names, and any of the shapes pictured. This week SARG are selling their SARG hats to raise some much needed funds. Just $10 for these stylish hats. One size fits all. Two types - sateen caps with Velcro straps at the back for adjustment of size, and trucker-style with mesh at the back and the traditional snap adjustment.... 07.01.2022 Christmas trees for sale. Radiata pine trees, various sizes. The trees will be $50 each with all proceeds going to Sunraysia Animal Rehousing Group and Kitty’s Krib. As a bonus this year, the trees will come with a Christmas tree stand (while stocks last). The trees range in size from approximately 160cm to 90cm, so get in early to get your pick of the trees.
