16.01.2022 Big thank you goes out to the Bakers Creek Tigers for today game. It’s was played in a great sprit. Demons got off to a great start kicking the first goal. But the kids really did stand up today an had a go. Bakers was just a bit to big and strong today. Week in week out Xavier stands up for his team. But this week he showed a bit more an managed to get him self the coaches award well done mate you done your mum an dad proud all year. Special mention goes to Laila Bryant she has only played a couple of games of AFL but she played absolutely cracker of a game she is a jet of player, great work Laila.

15.01.2022 BREWERS PARK SARINA It would seem that millions spent on stadiums that get occasional use are money better spent than the backing of smaller community sports p...recincts that have 600 Children playing sport over most Weekends? One would wonder who gets the contracts for these Stadiums and how many long term permanent jobs they create? There are 2 Stadiums in Mackay 400 meters from each other but the Plan set in 2012 for Brewers Park is nowhere to be seen. $40 million + spent on Harrup Park. There are also 2 proposed for Rockhampton, one that looks to be in the vicinity of $80 Million on its own. Shameful pork barreling, afforded to Safe Govt seats. SARINA is not a suburb of Mackay and needs support for its People.

13.01.2022 With our second home game of the year, the boys put all mighty effort against the top of the table magpies. It’s was a tight contest until half time, until magpies ran away with it in the end. but it was much improved effort from the demons. Coaches award was awarded to ROCKY HANCOCK! Who did a great job in the backline stopping a few goals an taking a couple of crucial marks as well. WELL DONE ROCKY it’s great to see kids who come over form different codes enjoying our game. We are glad Reid Hanley op went really well, an even tho he can’t play the rest of the year he going to be awesome having him along side the coaches helping his mates an coaches out for the rest of the year.
