24.01.2022 SATURDAY SOCIAL FIXTURES: Please note that Saturday Social continues this Saturday the 5th and next Saturday the 12th September 2020 (1pm start please), before breaking for the school holidays. 23.01.2022 RETURN TO PLAY UPDATE: Per Committee discussions earlier in May all Fixtures remain postponed at this time. Committee, fixture coordinators and Pioneer Tennis (club coaches) are continually monitoring Federal/State Government and Tennis Australia health requirements and we'll look to restart all fixtures and coaching as soon as the Club is able. Pending Mackay Regional Council approval and further Queensland Health announcements we're hopeful this will be from the 12th June 2020. Thanks for your patience at this time, stay safe!

22.01.2022 MACKAY REGIONAL COUNCIL - COVID19 RECOVERY ASSISTANCE GRANT: Pleased to announce that Sarina Tennis has recently been approved for a $1,000 Covid19 Recovery Assistance grant from Mackay Regional Council! Our thanks to the Council for this - these funds will allow the Club to purchase cleaning supplies and other equipment required to resume activities after the Covid19 pandemic.

19.01.2022 DATE CLAIMER - SARINA & DISTRICT TENNIS 2020 CLOSED CLUB TOURNAMENT: 6th/7th/8th/13th/14th/15th/20th/21st/22nd November 2020 (Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Sunday for three weekends in a row). Due to Covid-19 this year we've so far been unable to hold our annual Club Tournament, so with restrictions easing the Tournament Committee have decided to have the one event this year, over three straight weekends, with a reduced number of events. Paper nomination forms are available at the canteen or we can email one out if you send us a message. We'll try to be as flexible as possible with match scheduling (noting umpire availability) so please book your diaries out now and start thinking of your doubles' partners!

19.01.2022 2021 AFFILIATION OFFER: Per this weekend's committee meeting and in an effort to extend tennis back into the Sarina community, Sarina Tennis is offering FREE adult and junior affiliations in 2021 to new members (those not financially affiliated with the Club in the past). 17.01.2022 We're pleased to announce that the Queensland Government has provided $2,000 to Sarina & District Tennis Association to kickstart our Club after the Covid19 pandemic and enable our members and other Queenslanders to participate in sport and recreation activities! Thanks to the Queensland Government for this funding!

13.01.2022 DATE CLAIMER: HOME HILL TENNIS COVID CUP (SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 2020) The Home Hill Tennis Association Inc. is pleased to host the inaugural COVID Cup Teams Event on Saturday 12 September (10am start). As COVID-19 has caused the cancellation of several of the regions key tennis tournaments during the year, as restrictions have eased we have been looking at ways to ensure players in the region have access to friendly inter-club competition.... We have much pleasure in inviting you and your club to nominate teams in this event. All completed entry forms should be returned to us by 5th September, so that if any regrading is necessary; it can be done with as little inconvenience as possible to any player or team. 08.01.2022 2020 BREAKUP AND PRESENTATION NIGHT: Our presentation night will be at the Sarina Bowls Club this year on Friday night the 11th December 2020 at 6pm!
