15.01.2022 We've recently opened an exhibition featuring the work of artist and writer Edmund de Waal, a presentation of nine objects designed specifcially for the Frick's... Gilded Age mansion, with each piece reflecting on the experience and objects within a specific space therein. In this introductory video shot in de Waal's London studio, hear about his approach to creating this work, his first such project with an American museum (he has collaborated previously with Chatsworth and Waddesdon Manor in England). Learn more also on our website, where you'll find a map as well as individual audio stops for each work. The free lecture he gave this week is also available and provides yet more information. https://www.frick.org/exhibitions/de_waal See more
