You run at your pace, aiming to finish at 9:00 AM. Before you start, you estimate the time it will take you to walk/run around the Uni 2.2km Loop twice! 4.4Km in total. There will be a countdown clock starting at 8.00am counting down to zero. You set off at the time you think it will take you to finish walk/run this distance. We have just been advised that as this run is not part of regular club activities, it is deemed to be an event and as such is not covered by our Club insurance and requires specific event Public Liability Insurance. It is impossible to get cover at such short notice and the volunteers involved in putting the run together cannot be expected to wear the liability. We are devastated with this development. We thank you for your interest and particularly thank the volunteers who put in so much effort, but with such short notice it was always going to be a challenge to tick all the boxes.

This will allow SARRC to maintain safety and infection control measures, including social distancing. The bib collection area will be open from 6.30am. Thank you!
